Tips for Waffle House

From pecan waffles to legendary hash browns, breakfast fare rules at this homey 24-hour chain restaurant--but don't miss the chili.. In Short
Since 1955, this Atlanta-based chain has welcomed an all-hours crowd of shift workers, suits, regulars and late-night partiers with comfy booths and an extensive menu of Southern-accented home-style grub. Waffles (pecan or regular) are the restaurant's most popular dish. Other breakfast favorites include porterhouse T-bone steak and eggs, country ham, and signature hash browns cooked seven ways, from smothered with onions to topped with chili or cheese. Another bargain is the bowl of chili, which comes topped with onions, ham and cheese.

What can you say? It's the AWFUL WAFFLE. There is nothing like it anywhere.... They can talk about White Castle or Krystal or Huddle House... Nothing has been proven to be better for you then a double bacon quarter cheese plate scattered and covered at 2am. It scientifically accounts for a complete night of sleep and absorbs most of the alcohol that you have consumed that night. I dont think I have ever gone to a Waffle House during daylight hours and I have never seen one waitress that looks like she has not been released from a state penitentiary the previous day.

delicious breakfast food all day!. This is the first place I ate when I visited Georgia, because my friend (who is a Georgia native) wanted me to experience Waffle House (which is nonexistant in California). Though it didn't seem like much from the outside (just looked like a 24 hour diner), the food was amazing! I ordered waffles and the grilled Texas cheesecake with the hash browns on the side, and I almost finished the whole plate!

WaHo is nasty, dirty and perfect @2am. That being said, I love this place late (and I mea late) at night. Bad service, food served with extra grease and sweet tea that you have to chew are the best in town!!!

Become a WaHo addict!. Waffle House is one of the few places that will always welcome you. Granted, there are a few that I will refuse to step into, but the vast majority of them are fantabulous! Tip: Ask the waitress how her night is going, and tell her shes doing a wonderful job. Its a sure fire way to make sure the service is excellent. I'm at WaHo atleast 3 nights out of the week. I can do my college work at any time, stay for as long as I want, and eat a wonderful whole meal for the same price as a Starbuck's latte. And they don't get mad when I bring a few friends! What more could you ask for?

Waffle House Dreams. Our Waffle House has a Hostess that greets us on the weekends and gets us coffee while we're waiting for a table to open up. Our waitress knows us and what we want to order. You cannot beat the food or the price!

They call it "Waffle House"!?. I don't know which Waffle House the article is referring to, because all Waffle Houses are the same. I went to one in Birmingham in 1997, and did I overlook the massive waffle selection? These restaurants don't amount to very much.
