Great Experience! My wife took our car. Great Experience!

My wife took our car to have a slipping transmission looked at after we were told by another shop that we needed to have it rebuilt for $3200. The manager, Miles was very helpful and patient explaining what the problem was and that it didn't need to be rebuilt like the other shop stated. All together the bill was under $300 and our car is running like new! We will be taking our vehicles here from now on. Very honest and knowledgeable people.

Terrible Customer Service. I went to Aamco on Northside and Marietta Street because a good friend of mines said that they do good work. Little did I know I was about to experience some of the worst customer service I have ever experienced in my life. I dropped my car off on Thursday morning and the owner/manager stated to me that I would hear back from them on the same day in the afternoon. After waiting all day for a call I went to the shop to find them closed without reaching out to say the diagnostic would not be ready until the next day. Luckily the door was open and the owner/ manager stated that my car would be ready the next day. The next day I receive a call letting me know that my car is ready to be picked up. When I heard the price the representative told me on the phone I was a little put off but I waited to get there to ask questions. When they were signing my car back over to me I made a comment that a thousand dollars ($989.91) seemed to be a bit much for a brake job on a chevy cobalt. The owner/manager did not like my comment and assumed that I was trying to insult his expertise. I was merely trying to figure out why the cost was so high. He proceeded to call a part store to prove to me that his pricing was accurate which proved to be wrong as the parts were half the price of my quote. Once I made a comment about the price again he basically told me to great my cheap brakes and never come back. To avoid further confrontation I left but not without being reminded that he was the owner. Oh, by the way the other staff members a well mannered and courteous ( that's why they get a sorta good). The sad part is I was going to get the service done but now I will never visit another Aamco again.
