One of the country's most historic all-black colleges has a built a powerhouse of well-known graduates.. Short The only all-male historically black institution in the country, Morehouse prides itself on sculpting some of the strongest African-American minds the U.S. has ever seen. Dr. Martin LutherKing, Jr., Spike Lee and the late Maynard Jackson, Atlanta's first black mayor, all learned here. 3,000 of the next generation's world leaders currently walk the storied grounds. The Morehouse School of Medicine is also internationally-respected for its graduates. Though things haven't gone as well in sports, in Olympian Edwin Moses and John David Washington, Denzel's son, even that arena has had some glorious times.
