Excellent Chicken Sausage. I had heard this restaurant had some amazing chicken sausage....I ate some links the best sausage I have ever had....bar none.

This former 24-hour soul joint still serves up cafeteria-style hearty fare at almost all hours.. In Short
There was a day when the most glorious sight in the world was one of the ladies here, donning their trademark orange and white aprons, serving up a hot, post-clubbing breakfast at 4:30AM. While no longer open 24 hours on weekends (sadly, the cafeteria line shuts down at 3AM on Fridays and Saturdays) this legendary West End soul destination still dishes out breakfast staples and hearty southern offerings at reasonable prices. Eggs, hashbrowns, grits and sausage for breakfast; pork chops, mac n' cheese, and greens for dinner. Even though the "Open" light occasionally turns off now, one thing has remained consistent -- the older guys still converse at the front round tables, as if time has stood still.

EXCELLENT SOUTHERN FOOD. I love this place...the food tastes like grandma is back in the kitchen working it out!! Peach cobbler is to die for.....you have to try it!...

Great Food. This cafeteria style restaurant serves some of the best homemade southern food around. I went there for breakfast, and my food was great. And the price...oh wow. 3 people ate for less than $20...now that's amazing in itself.
