Darn Good BBQ. JJ's Rib Shack is the best Darn BBQ in Atlanta. It will make you slp your mama, daddy, and yourself. I was raised on their ribs. Every Atlanta native knows about JJ's. If you cant take my word, listen to some rap artist's songs. It is too good to keep a secret.

You will wait a thousand years, but with time brings perfection. The meat falls right off the bones.

The parking is PITIFUL!! There is no reason it should be that bad, but it is.

Please enjoy and save me some.

Called for information, and was hung up on.. The food was good. The service was poor and the wait time terrible.

Decent country-style barbecue in a gritty city neighborhood.. The Scene
The name of this Southside joint is no quaint euphemism. JJ's is little more than a worn-down storefront with faux brick paneling and a few wobbly tables. Still, the aromatic smoke billowing out from the pit on the side of the building makes it difficult to resist braking for 'cue.

The Food
JJ's has three kinds of barbecue: pork ribs, rib tips and chicken. Skip the gristly tips and focus on the tender ribs and moist chicken. The sauce is sweet and a little spicy, so you may want to ask for it on the side. Veggie sides are as Southern as they come: The potato salad is creamy, the mac and cheese is addictive and the green beans are canned. Sweet potato pie is so homey you'd think you were eating at a potluck. Getting your food may take a while, so be patient and watch Judge Judy with the regulars while you wait.

Make You Wanna Eat The Bones. The ribs are so good you may find yourself chewing the bones and licking and your fingers!! The veggies are fresh and good!!
