Soul food gets sauced and served at two metro locations.. In Short
Soul food has never had a reputation for being the healthiest category in the culinary arts. And while this modest-looking Southwst Atlanta staple doesn't fry legs or sweeten potatoes, it sure takes its fondness for French cuisine to heart by ensuring each morsel of meat is covered in some sort of sauce. As you choose your items cafeteria-style, you'll notice, be it the meatloaf, curry chicken or shrimp Creole, the entrees are generally swimming in richness. The veggies, ranging from spinach to creamed corn, also get their share of juice. Calorie-conscious consumers won't care for the teriyaki-glazed goodness as much as the regulars do, but they'll certainly applaud the chef for staying pork-free.

Great Experience. I used them for my wedding in March and the food was outstanding. I was a bride who ate all her food!! The staff was very professional and accomodating. The overall experience from begining to end was 5 star service. My guest are still talking about how good the food was months later. All wedding should include great food and we did recieve exactly that.

Great food!. I absolutely LOVE Chanterelles! The best food in town hands down! I always get the cajun chicken and rice with creamed spinach, good ol' down south cookin, with a twist! I would suggest going, and soon.

Southern Fresh Food with Flair. A stone's throw from the West End Mall, on a side street, across from Hank Aaron's "Krispy Kreme" this is a well kept secret! My favorite is the Shrimp Creole, fluffy flavorful rice, plump shrimp...seasoned just right. I prefer grilled food, most of the items are smothered in creams, sauces, ...but consistently fresh. Don't forget to try to the lemonade, sweet with just the right amount of lemon pulp.
