beware.... ive never did a review before but after reading these reviews I think i need to share my experience. I moved in on 2/18/12 to what appeared to be a clean apartment but after I was told to throughly go over my inspection form after she left and let them know if anything is not in ok condition... to make a long story short... I had 32 work orders my 1st month of living here... i cant say 'living" when maintenance is in and out of your unit constantly... my apartment has flooded three times and nothing has been fixed (does not include the 32 work orders) ... i have bugs for days... my toilet has ran over at least 10 times within a two week timeframe.... which resulted to one of the floods.. i literally have to pump the toilet everytime i go to the bathroom... the maintanence staff well one was fired he was super nice and attended to as much as one person could and the new guy hes super nice to and the same goes for him as well, he does what he can... my lease is "up" on next year 2/13 but ive decided to move right now... i cant stand another month of this... i no longer have electronics like tv dvd etc and a sofa due to the water damage constantly.. my insurance agent suggested I move because of the repeated claims... the gym equipment doesnt work and I have reported it but nothing has change... the business center equipment does not work either... fax machine is down, the copier is down and there are only 2 computers with one printer because of no ink in the other... when i moved in I was told that my rent was 699 but I got a 200 dollar extra bill... the gate is always broken... the staff is friendly but they dont follow up.... since moving in the staff has changed only one familiar face... there was a recent break in at the 5000 building 05/15/2012 that manager didnt send out letters to inform residents... it was the resident that put up signs... i remember staying at a complex and if it was a break in they informed us... well i cant say its been a nice run cause it hasnt... but im grateful that I have a roof over my head running water and electricity... but after reading the reviews i felt it was only right for me to share my experience... i would say proceed with caution... I dont have a problem either stating that I live in the 7000 building... im been blessed that I can afford anywhere but I wanted to save plus I wanted to save on "luxury" lol Beware of the cheap price... i will upload pictures of my issues...
NO NO NO NO NO. I have been here for a month and a half and I am not to pleased. The location is ok, is right behind a very big ghetto apartment community, but I have never had any problems. The residents have been nice so far. There is always parking. I can't say to many more nice things about it. I was drawn in by the very low rent in a Buckhead community. BEWARE! Your rent is a very small part of all your bills. My cable/internet is $200 A MONTH! I barely get any channels and have regular internet. No home phone. I came from a 2000 sq ft home where I paid about $90 to $100 for electricity this time of year. My electricity bill was $75! I never have my air on and I live in a very tiny one BR apt by myself. Water and trash are not the cheapest either. Managment would answer my emails right away when I was getting approved and right when I was moving in. They no longer answer them. I was also lied to when I moved in. I was told that the person living above me was never there. A nurse lives above me with the most horrible hours and wakes me up at all times of the night. I do not recommened this community due to very high utility bills and management that lies and is no help at all. I could have lived in a much nicer community for the price I pay here in rent and utilites. Oh yeah, I know gated communities have problems with their gates, but this one has a major problem. And you cannot break the lease here. :(
not safe place to live. they enter my apartment without asking or left me any notice
Isn't terrible. Lived there twice as a travel nurse. Office personnel was sub par both times. A/C stayed broken (not good in Atlanta). Water prices are just nuts. Pretty complex though and, for the most part, good neighbors.
Good for a short-term stay. This is one of the few apartment complexes in town that allows a 3-month lease, making it a good option for newcomers searching for more permanent housing. The location isnt anything to be excited about, unless its particularly close to your office or youre interested in living in Buckhead. Still, theres a pool and its generally pretty quiet around the complex. However, dont pay your rent even a day late (holiday or not), as the late fees can be steep.
