“Burkhart's is a really fun place with little attitude.”
“Guess what, I stepped behind the bar as a dare from friends (come on, its a bar for godsake, how serious can you take it) and was thrown out, but not just asked to leave (which I totally agreed with and take full responsability), but I was "escorted" thro”
“You simply cannot beat this pub for value; strong drinks and draft beer at great prices, and probably the best value on a steak dinner in Atlanta.”
“The introduction of the new bar menu with the famous $4.75 steak dinner is more reason to visit this landmark gay pub.”

“wish Burkhart's the best, but I cannot return until I'm confident that they have ended their discriminatory ways.”
“The staff was mostly friendly and sober!”

This multi-level gay club in Ansley Square has a large outdoor patio, dance floor and multiple bars for quick service
Keeps getting better!. Burkharts just keeps getting better all the time. The introduction of the new bar menu with the famous $4.75 steak dinner is more reason to visit this landmark gay pub. The service is always friendly. The drinks are strong and inexpensive. The outside patio is an intown oasis; it's a great place to relax with friends on a Sunday afternoon beofre catching the evenings entertainment inside the bar. This has to be my favorite pub in Atlanta.
Steak Dinner for $4.75!. It's not an urban legend, it's fact. Burkhart's Pub serves up a delicous and huge 10oz strip steak dinner including steak fries and steamed fresh vegetables for only $4.75. This is one of the best meal deals in Atlanta or anywhere for that matter. And Burkharts has one of the best outdoor patios of any pub in Atlanta. If you have not been to Burkhart's lately, you absolutely have to go, if even just for the steak dinner.
Burkhart's Rocks. I've been going to Burkhart's Pub on virtually a daily basis for about the last 6 years. My other half and I prefer the "after work" crowd because the bar isn't too loud or too crowded. The bartenders and bar-backs are very accommodating, the prices are great and the drinks are potent. We've literally met dozens of friends there, and are always ready to make new ones!
Queers and Beers. Burkharts is just your quintessential friendly gay neighborhood pub. The look of the bar has not changed since I first started going here 12 years ago, and many of the same smiling faces behind the bar are still there too. You simply cannot beat this pub for value; strong drinks and draft beer at great prices, and probably the best value on a steak dinner in Atlanta. Karaoke with Kitty is incredible; just wished it started before 1am.
Avoid the crowds. Burkhart's Pub can be quite busy on weekends and late night ... but is a great place to go after work, or on off nights. I particularly love the outdoor patio area behind the bar. A "quite" place (among the techno disco that prevails at night) and a good place to be alone with a special someone. I also enjoy the little TV bar (behind the front bar on the way to the patio) on EMMY, OSCAR, and TONY type nights. Usually not crowded (though the rest of the bar is) and without the disco speakers. Fun to hear the crowd "dish" the outfits of the celebs.
Great place to just kick back and relax!. I have lived in Atlanta for a few years now and still Burkharts remains the standard for a cool place to hang out and party without all the drama queens and prep boys with their attitudes. I love the place...went there then....go there now...
Neighborhood bar is right. I definitely agree that the B is a great neighborhood bar. What more could you ask for? No cover, cheap drinks, friendly people, great music and a fun time. This is a great bar for your first gay bar experience. The Christmas & New Years decorations are always great too!
The Average Joe. I like burkharts because most of the boys that go there are just themselves and not a bunch of jaded water-waists. The steak dinner is totally kick-ass and the crew are just themselves, fun, freaky, and full of old fashion cheer...LOVE THE PLACE
