The Scene – This is one of Midtown's favorite stopovers for happy hours, Sunday brunches and third dates. The brick patio is prime real estate; in colder weather, revelers pack the bar and the cozy booths situated next to the fireplace. Laid-back servers offer solid menu recommendations, and bartenders pour serious cocktails for the often boisterous crowd. – – The Food – Vickery's is something between a bar with an inventive menu and a casual restaurant with outstanding cocktails. The Caribbean- and Low country-influenced menu features a mix of pleasing dishes like…

False Advertisement and a dump
by GRussell
I looked at their website and thought it looked like a cool place to bring some out of town family members this past weekend. I was so wrong and embarassed. You website does not indicate that it's just a dirty little bar. The website comes across as a 'Cheeseburger In Paradise' but it's not even close. Wasted $125 bucks on avg food, dirty building and some weird manager dude that kept hanging around my table making sexist comments to everyone. Dump...avoid at all cost.
Elegance !

It still is one of the best .. my father used to come here to this place.. and I still do as well.. not everyday of course ..; but at least once a month just to chill out and find a calming place ... keep it up !
- Pros: food
- Cons: service
Very charming place in the middle of everything
by RustyCarGoesFast
The food here is delicious. It's one of my wife and I's favorite local places. We can walk there so it feels like getting out of Midtown without having to drive! It is convenient to everything exciting in Midtown and very fairly priced.
- Pros: PATIO
- Cons: Slow service
Great for dinner before a night on the town!
by MidtownAtlanta
A great spot for a romantic dinner and also a girls night out! This place has an old city charm to it with a upscale diner kind of feel. You would never think the inside looks the way it does from the outside. Vickery's looks iike it use to be a house that they remodled. Great outside patio overlooking the Midtown skyline with a even better menu to go with it. I ordered their cheeseburger with macaroni and cheese. Their macaroni and cheese is so different with little pieces of pepper in it but is sooo good! I have also heard their tator tots are incredible! Centered right in the middle of Crescent Street, this is a great place for a dinner before a night on the town!

My first dining experience at Vickery's was twenty years ago. I just went back for dinner after years and was very disappointed.
It was a Sunday evening, and was ignored when I walked in the door. I had grab a menu and order from the Bartender. Sort of dirty, very smokey, and sad, for Vickery's is one of the last of it's kind in Midtown. The food was Okay, Salad and calamari, but nothing like it used to be.
I suppose the ever increasing number of other restaurants in the neighborhood has taken it's toll on an old classic.
- Pros: It's former greatness
- Cons: Pretty much everything else.
