The Scene
This is one of Midtown's favorite stopovers for happy hours, Sunday brunches and third dates. The brick patio is prime real estate; in colder weather, revelers pack the bar and the cozy booths situated next to the fireplace. Laid-back servers offer solid menu recommendations, and bartenders pour serious cocktails for the often boisterous crowd.
The Food
Vickery's is something between a bar with an inventive menu and a casual restaurant with outstanding cocktails. The Caribbean- and Low country-influenced menu features a mix of pleasing dishes like savory black-bean cakes and creamy shrimp and grits. Pastas are best avoided, but sandwiches, dressed-up burgers, spicy bar snacks and salads--especially the Cuban Reuben made with a mojo-marinated chicken breast and a Caribbean tuna steak salad--are solid, cocktail-friendly choices

I came here with some friends and loved it! The food is delicious, the wait stuff are fun, and the atmosphere is great (warm, cozy and fun). Can?t really top that!

This place just celebrated their 25th anniversary. I went to the party and it was rocking. These guys know how to have a good time. I have always gone for Sat/Sun bunch and just found out there is an all you can eat brunch for $10 and bottomless bloodies and mimosas for $15 more! Great atmosphere for business lunch during the week. I think it'd be cool for a private party but haven't done that yet! Oh yea....There's a new location in Glenwood Park too!

Met friends here for lunch and the house salad was fantastic--which says a lot for a house salad. The proprietor was hilarious and friendly. Sounds like this place gets hopping on the weekends.

Save Money:
On Sundays, the bar serves draft PBR in a large frosty mug for only $1.
What to Drink:
Toss back one of the specialty martinis or old-school cocktails. Many come with an ice-cold sidecar.
Know Before You Go:
The kitchen stays open until 11:30pm Monday-Thursday, 1am Friday-Saturday and until midnight on Sundays.
