What People Are Saying About Einsteins'

The Scene – This longtime Juniper Street standard is known for its block-long patio and monstrously popular Sunday brunch. Inside the two 1920s bungalows, black lacquer and blond wood cleverly mix with a chalkboard equation mock-up and candelabra done up as an atomic model. A consistent draw with the Midtown gay crowd, it's also a Sunday morning destination for crowds of morning-after clubgoers. – – The Food – You don't have to be an Einstein to realize that this is a bar in restaurant guise, so order accordingly. Burgers, sandwiches and bar snacks--plus weekend brunch…
Editor's Tips
- What to Drink:
- The vermouth-soaked almond olive is one of the more popular garnish choices for the weekend brunch bloody mary bar. Choose from vodkas, mixes, hot sauces and toppers after noon, Saturday and Sunday.

Molasses-Like Service for so-so food
by GwinnettGrumps
Once a year for 10 years we've eaten at Einstein's for brunch, usually The Veranda Platter. In the last couple of years, though, service has slowed to a crawl.
After we were seated this last time, it took nearly 40 minutes to get what amounts to bacon, scrambled eggs and breakfast potatoes. It was good, not great, and didn't warrant the wait.
Not every table was occupied. They hadn't just opened. There were none of the obvious and acceptable excuses.
It isn't just this year, either. It's gotten progressively worse. So for next year, we're shopping for a new Midtown brunch...any suggestions?
- Pros: Patio dining
Awesome Food & Relaxing Atmosphere
by Dashgne
This is one of my newest favorite locations to wine & dine with da fellas. I've visited this location several times over the past months & each time it gets better. Definitely, recommend this location for lunch and/or dinner during the weekday or the weekends.
- Pros: Great Staff, Live Music, Patio, Varity of Seating Areas
Always Give it a Try and Always a Disaster
by JAtlanta
We live in the neighborhood and always try to come back to Einstein's to give it another chance. The service is conistently poor. The kitchen rarely gets an order correct and the management could care less. I ordered a plain turkey burger and asked for it plain twice. It came out with cheese and onion spread. I sent it back and it came back uncooked and when I cut into it there was a piece of white plastic in the meat. The waiter took it off the bill, but could have cared less. Sorry, but that was the last time we will be in. You just lost ten loyal customers. With so many new attractive patios in the neighborhood Einstein's really needs to get their act together!
- Pros: Nice Patio
- Cons: Bad Management, poor service and inedible food
Awesome Atmosphere
by foody1234
We went in here for a work lunch and the food was out in 10 minutes! The patio was amazing. The fresh air and openness was awesome. Food was so good, I came back on the weekend for brunch (Bloody Mary Bar!). I cannot recommend this place highly enough. Staff was very attentive, from the hosts up to the managers. Best restaurant in Midtown!
- Pros: Patio!
- Cons: nothing yet...
Patio is Great
by DennisnAtlanta
The food here is so so. It's not over the top but not bad either--upscale bar food best decribes it. The Saturday and Sunday brunch is good on nice days when the patio is open. It's more about the atmosphere than the food. It's mostly a gay crowd with a lot of table hopping and visiting. If you have a problem with the gay lifestyle you will hate this place. The bar at nights is a good place to start the evening, but it's not a late night place. Service is hot and cold. At times I have found it to be excellent, at other times its horrible. We go here for the patio atmosphere and a drink with friends.
