The Scene – Colorful and cramped, this funky new-age diner is an eye-candy oasis along a perpetually snarled section of Peachtree. A comfortable all-weather patio--humid as a conservatory, but with plenty of fans--serves as the main dining area. Healthy late night option!

The small dishes/appetizers are fantastic! They are great options for late night snacks or if you're just not too hungry!

Favorite place to eat in Atlanta

This is by far my favorite restaurant in the ATL. So convenient and well located. Cesar is the best, thanks for the coupons, I still have some.
Not sure about the animals and the condition the are though.

Not Worth It

It had been a while since I had visited R. Thomas. I was embarrassed when I recommended it for lunch with some co-workers.
First, $20 for lunch isn't reasonable when healthy food isn't as hard to get as it used to be, not to mention economic conditions. Secondly, the portions were minuscule -- ordered chips and salsa "crumbs n red stuff" and my salad might have had 3 leaves of lettuce (the saucer it was served on couldn't make it appear any larger). Finally, the food wasn't that tasty. My smoothie tasted watered down when compared to Arden's Garden and it was more expensive.
There just isn't an excuse for R. Thomas when there are other options. They need to adjust or they'll meet the fate of their neighbors.
