“look forward to returning once I start dating, and try out the meals, as this is a romantic spot, as well as a nice place to network and have dinner & business meetings.”
“The desserts were mediocre at best and the carrot cake tasted like it had been frozen and thawed too.”

“Contrary to previous reviews, I honestly enjoyed my meal.”
“First, the menu is riduculously overpriced.”

“Overall, I'll be back because the experience as a whole is pleasant.”
“Initially as we walked in, host was very rude.”
“While my boyfriend and I don't mind paying for an expensive, quality meal, the food at Justin's is pricey and the quality is mediocre.”
“The waiter, who had been their since it opened up, was very slow and somewhate rude until we showed are intentions of leaving at which point he was able to have our food served immediately.”
Aweful...... We took our mother there on may 12, 2012 at 5:00pm the wait was only 5mins. but the waitress was unattentive we had to keep asking for more to drink.......the food was aweful aweful!!!!! they had one thing on the internet menu and other when you get there? and the price is too high for the amount of food you get..... we will never come back nor recommend Justin's to anyone. They are very rude!!!!!!
FIRE in the bathroom. I have always suggested that my friends must dine at the infamous Diddy's Justins restaurant. Sadly I will not be referring another friend, family member or visitor to Atlanta there ever again. Our party of 25 was asked to leave just after ordering our entree's. Somehow there was a small fire in the mens restroom. No big deal they put it out and just as we were exciting the patio we were told we could come back if we liked. We sat down only to find that now the water no longer worked, so once again we were told to leave. Now leaving us two hours later into the night and nowhere for an entire party of 25 to dine on a Saturday night. To top it all off....The valet attendant still wanted his money even if we never were fed. What a horrible Saturday night at Justins.
Diddy Wouldn't Eat Here, Longest Wait Time, Worst Experience.
This past weekend my boyfriend and I visited Atlanta just to get away for a Valentine's weekend. We decided on Justin's Restaurant because the menu seemed to be promising, and assumed that it would be a nice experience considering P.Diddy's name was attached to it. BIG MISTAKE!
When we arrived, they were two couples already waiting, and we were told that the wait time was approximately an hour. There were a few open tables and many guests leaving throughout our entire wait so we both assumed that it probably wouldn't take that long, wrong again. After about 45 minutes and watching another woman complain about her wait, even after making reservations, I asked the hostess how much longer. She explained to me that we had approximately 15 more minutes left on our estimated wait time. I hadn't realized that it was a mandatory wait period, especially if there were as many tables available as there were. We considered leaving but decided that since we'd already waited that long it didn't make much sense to leave. 30 minutes later my boyfriend went to inquire about our wait time and the hostess commented that she had to wait on her manager to come back and allow her to seat someone else. What!?!? We'd made plans to go to the movies after dinner, but because of the long wait we missed BOTH late night shows. After 1.5 hours of waiting for a table we were sat with less than satisfactory customer service from the hostess. We were seated next to an empty, and dirty makeshift stage. Almost immediately after we'd been seated, three tables were sat back to back around us, and all three received their food before we received our appetizer. On top of that, I ordered an rum/pineapple that cost $7.50 and it was in the smallest glass imaginable. I had to ask a busser to find my waitress so that I could express my dissatisfaction. While waiting, we witnessed the manager dealing with another table who had clearly had a poor experience as well. After speaking to my waitress, the manager came over and I spoke with him. He left our table and came right back with our food. That was the best service I'd received all night. He also offered us free desserts. By this time, we were ready to go and had the waitress bag our food and desserts. My curry chicken was pretty good, but my boyfriend said his tilapia was dry and salty. The best things were the cheesecake and strawberry shortcake. However, when our waitress brought us our to go bag she neglected to include utensils, so when we arrived back at our hotel we had nothing to eat with. To top it all off, a gratuity of 18% was automatically included for our table of two. That's ridiculous, no one in that restaurant provided any service that was worth that much.
I would NEVER EVER EVER recommend this restaurant to anyone, the whole experience was awful and it put a damper on the rest of our night. I wish I'd read the reviews beforehand.
Now I remember why I haven't been in years. I've lived in Atlanta for a few years and visited Justin's when I first moved here. I've never thought the food was good and wondered why it was always so crowded. Well in walks Big Boi from Outkast. That's the only reason to go to Justin's. In hopes of seeing a celebrity. I went to Justin's last night (after not having been in several years) because a relative came to visit. She wanted to "experience Atlanta" so I took her to Justin's. Of course there was a wait but what I didn't get was why we had to wait for the hostess to return to take our names. She kept leaving her post throughout the night causing a line several times! We waited about 30 minutes and soon realized that there were SEVEARL tables open but no one was being seated. I asked the hostess about this and was told that they were saving those seats for an event later that night. Oh and we had another 15 minute wait. 30 minutes later we inquired again about our wait and were told ANOTHER 20 minutes!! And there were still those tables open! We left and went to Copeland's Cheesecake Bistro, were seated right away, and got our food in 10 minutes.
why is this nasty place still open?.
I was visiting ATL for the first time with my family and we wanted to eat at a good place that serve soul food. One of the front desk staff at the hotel gave us a list of restaurants and unfortunately Justin was on it. Our first impressions of the place was it looked nice and there was only two other people eating there. So we figure since no one was there our food would arrive quick, but this should of been a hint to run, the place was empty for a reason! The corn bread they give while u wait for the food was so cold and was under cook, we should of left then ,because if a place cant cook a simple bread right how could the food be good! We decided to stay because we did not want to get lost looking for another restaurant. When the food came out the portions were small and it taste awful. The fried chicken was dry, bland and just disgusting! Macaroni and cheese was awful, sweet plantains was dry, salad and green beans too salty. Rice had no flavor and the list goes on! The music pumping with songs that is 8 years old, no songs were recent and it is so loud that it gave us a headache.
When we came back to the hotel, all of us that ate the fried chicken became sick and felt like we needed to go to the hospital. I called the restaurant to find out if something was wrong with the chicken and the chief I talked to, responded as if he knew the chicken was bad.
This place almost ruin my trip because I felt so sick and had to get medicine from the hotel before considering the the hospital.
I’m surprised that this place is even getting business, the food is nasty, it over priced and they charge a 18% tip to your bill, which is not negotiable.
Be smart and listen to these reviews, I wish me and my family checked here first before going !
Great Selection, Good Beer.
Really great food and very nice waitresses, they sat us down right away and the food was very quick. They have amazing fish and steak it is a American restaurant. They also have live entertainment every Friday with a large flat screen projector. If you really want to go private they also have private dinning rooms in the back. If you really are looking for a good time they also have a full bar with a large assortment of alcohol.
Oh and by the way, this is Akon's favorite restaurant. And Akon is my favorite singer. So big plus in my book.
Horrible and Ghetto!!!. OMG, So I originally went to Justin's about 7 year ago and the food wasn't that great. I decided after moving right across the street that I would tr again. What a mistake. It is a true nickel and dime experience. It cost $5 to valet and $5 self park. They CHARGE to park! They valet person asked us if we wanted to pay $20 to put our car in the front of the restaurant?? Then we were seated in the dining room, the menu states that there is a one entree minimum per person, who writes that on the menu. My husband only wanted drinks and a few appetizers, why should he be forced to order dinner. The charge automatic 18 % gratuity on every check, whether it is one or 20 people. Doesn't matter.. My husband rarely looks at the receipt and was about to double tip the waitress, until I looked at the bill and showed him it was included. we were shocked that they would do this. Now to the food, it was absolutely horrible. I have never had a bad porkchop, it taste like a bottle of granulated garlic. The collards tasted like sugar. The rice and peas were not so great as well. i will never go again. What a waste!! beware, i have warned you.
I could have went to Cracker Barrel.
My cousin and I visited Justin's in Atlanta this weekend, and I must say that I will never go back. The service was horrible, we had to ask for bread AND a refill on our drinks. Our waiter acted like we were an afterthought instead of well paying guests.
With the level of perfection that P Diddy expects from his recording artists, I expected to see the same level of perfection from his employees at his other entities.
The quality of food was mediocre at best, and while chewing the strings on the green beans--aren't those supposed to be taken off BEFORE being cooked--I surmised that I could have went to the Cracker Barrel for a better meal.
Step it up P. Diddy!
I was very pleased.
After reading all of the the various reviews, I decided to try Justin's for myself. I think separate checks are tacky and are a sign of low class, so I knew I wouldn't have a problem with that. I must say, I was very pleasantly surprised with everything. The restaurant is very nicely decorated, the wait staff was attentive and friendly and the food was great. I had the curry chicken and my friend had the lamb chops. Also I did not find them to be at all overpriced, (they are less than Cheescake factory, which is one of my favorites).
So I am not sure what those other reviews were about, but I had a great time at Justin's and will definintely visit again.
Please say this is a joke!!. I can not believe this is the infamous Justin's. This place can not be associated with the standards that Sean Combs demands of his staff and anything directly related to him or his name. I would not recommend this place to anyone at anytime....the food was horrible and it was almost an hour before it came to the table...which was strange because it may have been 5 tables occupied in the whole restuarant. It smells like Moth Balls...and the floor had trash on it...Disappointed is an understatement!
