Editorial Review for Atlanta Brewing Company – by Erin Behan

In Short
Every Friday from 5:30pm to 7pm, the blacktop area in front of the Atlanta Brewing Co. fills up with a huge congregation of drinkers. The crowd waits eagerly for the $5 plastic cup that gives access to the taps. A tour of the brewery, founded in 1994 after a change in Georgia law, is given at some point in the evening. You may want to ask a company employee if you're really interested.

Look Good

The Red Brick, with its smooth, creamy taste, is a favorite. Other choices include Red Brick Ale, Peachtree Pale Ale, Laughing Skull Bohemian Pilsner or one of the seasonal brews.

Very cool place with very good beers. Get there early bc they will run out sometimes. Do not use this address though because they have moved. I dont know the new address but call them or go to their website.

If you live or work in town, you have no excuse to not make this trip. Located on Williams Street (on the way to the I-75 on ramp), this giant brick building serves out 5 or so styles of beer goodness. $5 is the current price for all the beer you can drink. I reccommend the Summer Brew (if it's in season) as well as the Red Brick Ale. Both are really good for anyone who isn't into really heavy beer but enjoys lots of flavor. Make sure you get there early to avoid the giant line that forms as the afternoon progresses.

Pros: Excellent Location, Good beer, Cheap

Cons: Crowded, Huge Line, Small bathroom
