Perfect Appetizers. This is the perfect place to go with friends to share some appetizers and get some great drink deals!! All the food is really delicious, cooked perfectly. The cocktails are also delicious and reasonably priced. My favorite is the Tyku skinny yogi! It's a must try for anyone!

Kansas-based restaurant started in 1972 entices 30-somethings and families with a flashy menu, inventive drinks and chic, but accessible, decor.. In Short
Considered a founding father of American casual dining, Houlihan's transformed its once-kitschy decor and meat-and-potatoes menu into a contemporary restaurant serving eclectic cuisine. Geared toward a slightly more upscale crowd, warmer colors and modern art adorn the walls, while Indie rock tunes and a patio leading to a walk-around bar remind you that you're not in Kansas anymore. The globetrotting menu juxtaposes classic burgers and wings with innovative selections like tuna wontons and herb-cheese stuffed mushrooms.

Good food. This is a great place to eat. They have good food nice portions and the drinks are great as well. The one downtown can be a little price compared to the one in dunwoody. The on in dunwoody always have off drinks and appetizers. I would reccommend both.

Terrible. I wish I could rate this place lower than 1 star. It is truly one of the worst restaurants in all of Atlanta. The food never comes out warm nor does it ever come out correct. The staff is lazy and incompetent. Houlihan's is a joke amongst all the businesses that are located in the area around Colony Square. Their service is so poor that it is well-known that you will more than likely have your meal comp'ed. A friend of mine was telling me that people in her office will send out an email that reads, "Does anoyone want a free meal today? Then come join me at Houlihan's!"

I have had a total of 4 meals comp'ed at Houlihan's either because the food was not brought out on time, the order was incorrect or the service was subpar. I have only been to this restaurant 7 times. I'd say that bad service 4 out of 7 means that their poor quality is more of a norm rather than an anomaly. The only reason they've stayed in business for this long is because of the convenience factor - they are very close in proximity to many of the big companies and law firms that are located in Midtown. It's laughable that management has tried to change the image of the restaurant by adding trendy drinks to their menu, introducing fancy plates and changing the look of the menu. Maybe if they spent more time getting meals out on time, making sure the meals are correct and training the staff on how to be friendlier to the customer than they wouldn't be such a joke.

Fresh Food, Good Prices, Great Service. Houlihans was a great place to eat! The food was very fresh. Salads were crisp, and dressing homemade, I think. The potroast dinner was so flavorful, with the best wine-marinated mushrooms. The onion straws that topped the meals were crispy, light and flavorful, unlike most places where I don't eat them because they are soggy and greasy. The roast beef on the French Dip Sandwich was tender and cooked to perfection, lean and not marbled with any fat. The prices were reasonable, and the service prompt. Located a conveniently quick walk across the street from the Alliance Theater for those going to a performance.

They have a three-martini deal for $7. They are half-size drinks, but still a great way for two to sample. They actually have a similar deal for margaritas and other drinks. I would highly recommend Houlihans at the Colony on Peachtree!
