Atlanta >Off The Hook Barber Shop
“has an erray of great barbers and it's a great location.”
Courteous and Precise...w/that southern appeal. Everyone gets greeted when walking in and your offered refreshments while you wait. Off the hook. has an erray of great barbers and it's a great location. As a mother of a 10 yr.old boy, I was welcomed in a respectfull manner and encouraged to come back. One barber in particular, named Courtney-from N.O., was so precise in his art. He was gentle and very personable with my son. The barbers conversed with my son and mad e him feel very comfortable, being that this was his first time there, with a new barber. i would recommend any and everyone to visit this shop for convience, conversation and comfort..
Make me crispy, son!.
Off the Hook Barbershop is a great juxtaposition of quality haircuts and rhetorical hyperbole.
It?s a typical barbershop in the sense that it?s usually a lot of loud trash-talking going on, everybody is the authority speaker on some arbitrary topic, and everybody knows somebody that?s somebody! (??yeah, yeah, I was with Jeezy last night helping him out with the hook!)
Of course it?s political discourse and keeping up with transgressions in the community. But at the end of the day, those fine gents (the barbers) are about their business. Believe me, it would be your pleasure for you to have your hair cut by any of those experts, starting off with the shop manager Karl.
But the true all-stars, for sure, to see are Jay from VA and my man Malik from Brooklyn. Being that I?m a real loyal guy and particular about just anybody touching my hair-line, I go to Malik because of his A1 quality.
Greatness can not be rushed, so just put aside a good 3-4 hours of your day. With all the clientele and his careful precision, it can be a while. His comic relief pauses and story-telling take some time, but the end result and content of the joke makes it worthwhile.
If precedence is set and you establish a relationship with him, then you won?t feel like you?re walking on egg-shells and he?ll even take light to you badgering him. Not to digress from the subject though, this is quality service top to bottom at this barbershop. Shannon Sharpe, Dennis Scott, Idris Elba, and Jodie Breeze are a few big names that stop by, but that?s just to illustrate that type of quality they offer.
Just to put things in perspective: I routinely give my barber a $5 tip, and I put the ?f? in frugal!
