We are open 24-hours and feature Southern-style short-order cooking, as well as traditional diner food, sandwiches and some of the best breakfast food in Atlanta. Majestic Diner takes you to a time when a diner was defined by three things; food, price, and friendly service. Majestic Diner is a shining example of these things, and sets the contemporary bar for what a diner should be like; great food at a very inexpensive price, great atmosphere, and fast, friendly service. There are not many of these classic Mom-and-Pop diners left, but Majestic is the best of this type in the Atlanta area.

Oozing local-landmark status with its temperamental neon and Hopper-esque plate-glass window, this Ponce de Leon fixture is home to the roving human circus that keeps Ponce just ahead of the gentrification curve. It's also a favorite late-night sobering up stop for the young, hard-partying Highlands crowd. The dining room features a long narrow counter and small, comfortable booths. Service is always no-nonsense. This 24-hour diner features Southern-style short-order cooking, as well as traditional diner grub, sandwiches and icebox pies. Breakfast food and burgers are the most reliable dishes, and a pork chop and eggs with a pecan waffle and black coffee really does the trick after modest bingeing in the Highlands.

Until you have had a late night and ended up at the Majestic you shouldn't call yourself an Atlantan. This diner is the place to be in the wee hours of latenighters of Friday and Saturday. It is also a wonderful breakfast stop on Saturdays and Sundays. Having said that, I have eaten at the Majestic at all times of the day and night and I've always left with a full belly and happy smile. The wait staff is excellent and capable of handling any situation because they already have. They make you feel right at home and their food is excellent. Everyone that comes to Atlanta or lives here should have a meal at the Majestic. A+++

The waitress added to the amount of tip I left on the debit card slip which is especially annoying because the service really sucked. The food is like your average waffle house, ihop, etc.
