Amazing staff, awesome gym!. It has been a while since I have climbed, but I went with a group of friends to this gym and had an AMAZING time. Tim and his staff were super helpful and are great teachers. Since then I have participated in quite a few of their activities and am always amazed at what a wide range of people the gym appeals to. There are kids doing climbing camps, teams working on competitions and all levels of climbers. The routes are updated regularly and there is plenty of space for everyone! I would recommend this gym for any type of function or climber!
Best climb in town. This is a great gym with a lot of technical routes, strengthening equipment and a friendly staff. Definitely stop by.
Great Place for Birthday Party!. Ok, I don't usually write these reviews, but we recently took our boys (ages 10-13) here for their birthday party and it was fantastic! We basically had the place to ourselves. We found the staff very accomodating; they encouraged the boys and gave them pointers on how to make it up the walls. We, the parents, didn't have to do anything; we took pictures and watched. The boys loved the physical challenge and (at the end) the competition of racing each other up the wall. You could see the confidence, determination and satisfaction on their faces with each climb. Our boys commented, "This was the best party ever!" I would highly recommend this place, especially if you have high energy kids like ours!
Great confidence builder for kids. We recently held a birthday party at Wall Crawlers. I hate birthday parties. I may change my mind. Kids came in unsure of their abilities, and left beaming over their accomplishments. By the end of two hours, they were begging for more opportunities to climb and so proud of what they could do. Sending a child home with this confidence and enthusiasm was better than any goodie bag.
Great experience for pre-teen boys - great birthday party.
How cool is it to go to a birthday party as an 11 year old boy and climb walls? And how cool is it to be a parent who gets to watch them wear themselves out and have a blast with very little effort on your part? To quote a parent - "this is so much better than hosting a sleepover" - and for those of you parents who have had sleepovers, you know what I mean.
Great for the boys - it was an athletic thing to do but also dobale for everyone. And it was a good confidence boost for them too. Who knows, it may even have sparked a future passion for one or two of them too.
Can't go wrong with this party idea - especially for the pre-teen set.
Good routes for good climbers. I bouldered for 4+ hours at Wall Crawler's yesterday. . . and boy are my arms tired. Great routes with a well contoured wall are the trademarks of this gym. The number of moderate to hard routes of high quality is unsurpassed in the area and the atmosphere is very low key. While I was there I so no agro-rock-jocks, and no gaggles of kids. Just solid climbers enjoying some vertical time on plastic. The route-walls were being re-set for a comp, but from what I could see - the routes look just as good as the bouldering.
The best climbing facility in town. I planned a last minute birthday party for my daughter who was turning eight and was unable to give an exact kid count to the owner so that he could have enough staff on hand for the party, but he assured me that they would accommodate the uncertain number of kids and that they would have a great time, and they had a blast. Several of the children in the party had never been climbing before and they were a little apprehensive once they began to climb the wall, both Melissa and Tim were very good at coaching the scared children and encouraging them to continue up the wall to the top. By the end of the party all the children were climbing fearlessly and some were even racing each other to the top. We also had two little boys, 2 and 3 that they secured with a harness and they let them attempt to climb, it was absolutely adorable! There was lots of laughter the entire duration of the time we were there and parents were excited to see their children trying something new and felt 100% comfortable with the staff. Considering the unorganized nature of our party, I truly believe that the staff accommodated the stead flow of children with ease and grace. They dedicated an entire wall for the party, took time to talk with the kids and the parents about the rules of the gym and the importance of following the rules. The staff is extremely knowledgeable about the sport, patient with children, great with nervous moms, and truly generous with their time. It is a very personable staff and I highly recommend Wall Climbers for anyone looking to have a party, interested in learning to climb, or looking for an indoor facility to frequent. I certainly will be back and I am certain that several of the moms who attended our party will be back too.
Patient, safe, experienced.. I had been meaning to try rock climbing for a while and finally just decided to do it. It was very easy to set up an appointment for a first lesson. Ben taught me all the basics and then coached me on climbing techniques. He was very patient, professional and clearly enjoys what he does.
Outstanding customer service, multiple workout options.
What a great day! The ownership was really accommodating to our group of middle school students. Most of our 10-12 year olds had never climbed before. Most are looking forward to climbing again. A special thanks to Ben and Dave as they spent their day patiently encouraging our youngsters and adults to challenge themselves. A couple of our kids were fearless and ready to go; so were Dave and Ben. A couple of our kids required a little extra encouragement and reassurance that they could do it. Ben and Dave were ready to oblige. The climbing facilities were fantastic offerings of bouldering opportunities as well as routes allowing for a progression of challenge congruent with ability level. If you don't like bottled water or gatorade bring your own liquids...you're going to need them after the great workout and yelling encouragement!
We look forward to a return visit!

Best climbing gym in the area!. I have tried many climbing gyms in the greater Atlanta area as well as places in Florida and this is by far the best one I've been to so far. The staff is very easy going and accessible. Most of the climbers in this gym are very skilled which helps you improve fast and with a strong base of skills. The atmosphere in the gym is not only fun but the staff is also very passionate for the sport and they encourage you actually want to be a better climber. I have taken personal clases with Tim, inside the gym and also in an actual rock wall in the outdoors. His knowledge of the sport and coaching skills are key when you are trying to make that jump into becoming a better climber
