Editorial Review for Stefan's Vintage Clothing – by Ginger Massey

The Scene
Those who know vintage well shop here for clothing that's turn-of-the-century through 1960s with a splash of outrageous '70s. All of the garments are beautifully preserved, and the store is organized so you don't waste time digging. Have treasures of your own? Bring them here and turn a few bucks. Just make sure their born-on date falls between 1900 and 1970.

The Goods
For festive occasions, there are tuxedos and suits for men, gowns and little black dresses from the '50s for women. Less formal attire is here, too: havana shirts, baggy linen shorts, vintage jeans and old-fashioned lingerie. The accessories--elaborate brooches, linen handkerchiefs, wide-rimmed hats, bow ties, eyeglasses and cufflinks--give your modern outfits an antiqued edge.

Insider Tips

Know Before You Go

This is vintage, not thrift, so don't come in looking for a $2 T-shirt. You can score a tux for about $60, a dress for $50 and a handkerchief for $8.

Parking

It's tricky in L5P. There's street parking and a few pay lots, one behind Star Bar, one at Junkman's Daughter and one behind Miro's Garden.

Great variety of clothing! So many different eras of clothing, clerks are all friendly and ready to assist you at any time, ecstatic to see that the clothes were arranged according to color! I just bought a dress from the 80s and is its great! May have minor problems finding the right size! If you ever visit Little Five Points you must stop by
