never again. its a big rip off. i went in to buy a halloween costume. when i noticed it was missing some of the pieces i was told to speak with the owner at the register. when i told her she them pulled the missing pieces out from behind the counter and told me it was going to cost me extra. i showed her the bag and showed her the costume came with those pieces and i should not be charged tor those. i went and grabbed the same costume but a larger size and showed her it was the same price and came with all the pieces. i got another run around story and if i wanted the costume i would have to pay extra. i felt nickle and dimes. so i left the costume there and went down the street to rag o rama got the same costume with all the pieces and cheaper price. i just don't understand how she has been around as long as she has. plus she was rude.

Totally Hot!!!!. The lady working there was very helpful. She helped me to find a last minute outfit for a party that I was going to. Unfortunately, it was hot. It was hotter in the store than it was outside. Bummer.

Funky Boutique Right at Home in L5P. This over-stuffed boutique is packed to the gills with vintage threads, focusing on funky outfits rather than old graphic T's. Motorcycle jackets, disco suits, gently used 80's bridesmaid dresses and platform heels. There is a rickety staircase that leads upstairs to reveal a room focusing on costumes. For a theme party, Halloween, or playing dress up in the bedroom, this place is the first place to visit.

Costumes and trendy retro threads find a comfy home in L5P.. In Short

A sort of all-in-one consignment shop-of-horrors, this hip Atlanta chain sells vintage clothing, overstocked new items and second-hand goods (as long as they're still stylish or outlandish). It’s like if a Halloween shop invaded a shoebox-sized thrift store from the suburbs. Given the inexhaustible mix of club clothes, basics and vintage pieces, you'll come in for a '70s-era treasure and leave with a black miniskirt and that Betsy Johnson piece you eyed last season. Cool brands like Levis sit next the uber-quirky Hello Kitty. The accessories (aka awesome-costume-fun) alone merit a visit; there's a fun collection of platform shoes, go-go boots, fishnets, designer handbags, costume jewelry, hats, boas and wigs.

Groovy, But Trying Too Hard. Now that used clothing is in style and messy is the new upscale, this store fits into the youth market like a glove. The marketing of the store and an alternative lifestyle seems a little pushy and fake but that could be because I'm over 13. The clothes were good according to my daughter and I thought the prices were high. So take some money, there are not a lot of bargains to be found.

Psycho Sisters. No Return Policy!!!! The store have great selection. i bought a pair of boot for work, i explained to the store manager the use of the boot, my employer won't let me wear it because the heel is too low, i called the store the next day explaining the situation and willing to exchange, the owner said to me that the store policy is no return or exchange. now i have them sitting in my closet.

One of the best value stores in L5P. This is one of my favorite stores. Before I start singing the praises of Psycho Sisters, let me tell you the cons. There are a lot of homeless people around L5P and some hang around this little block more than others. Just ignore them. Second, the store is crammed tight and it is really hard to move around when there are a lot of people around there. That's about it. Psycho Sisters offers interesting outfits for cheap prices and their costume section is terrific! You really have to know about what you're thinking of buying because some of the items were not priced accordingly and you could get ripped off. My favorite part is going there to look at jewelry because they always have a great selection of crazy earrings, necklaces, and bracelets. Halloween time is central for this store, who deals in costumes like crazy around October.

Thanks!. What a halloween pinch I was in but thats what I get for waiting till the last minute to find something. Fortunately I did a search here and found this place and was amazed at all the stuff that they had. Im not sure what her name was at the store but she did one awesome job helping me put together a kick butt costume. Thanks again!

Shrug. I was a bit disappointed by the slim picking of every day wearable clothes here. Seemed much more suited to...well, I'm not sure who would wear these clothes, but if 70's and 80's worn out threads are your thing this is your place. I've heard they swap out inventory pretty quick, so maybe I just stopped in on a bad day.

Guys and gals score mad deals on groovy disco duds and current mall trends.. The Scene
Much more than a consignment shop, this hip Atlanta chain sells vintage clothing, new items from other stores that overstock, and second-hand goods (as long as they're still stylish and funky). The stores are popular and not very large; so if close quarters make you squirm, avoid shopping here on weekends.

The Goods

Given the inexhaustible mix of club clothes, basics and vintage pieces, you'll come in for a '70s-era treasure and leave with a black miniskirt and that Bebe shirt you eyed last season. Brands like Express, Banana Republic, Gap, French Connection and Betsey Johnson rule the racks in this store. The accessories alone merit a visit; there's a fun collection of platform shoes, go-go boots, fishnets, designer handbags, costume jewelry, hats, boas and wigs.
