!!!!WORST FOOD EVER I HAD AND NO WAITER!!!.
!!!WORST FOOD EVER I HAD!!!! AND NO SERVICE!!
Recently, I had visited calcutta Indian cuisine and I got a bad experience over there. As I entered in the dining room there was no waiter or host. I was waiting about five minutes and walking to near the kitchen door. I saw a maxican guy cooking food and as I was knocking the door he came out from the kitchen helped us to be seated. He served us drinks and took our order and entered back into the kitchen. We were waiting about 25 minute or so and waiting for another drink and our food. He came back after thirty minute with our food. We ordered chicken Tikka Massala and Lamb Sagg which had no flavour at all.Chicken Tikka masalla is just cooked in cream with out any Indian spices same as lamb sagg cooked in raw spinch and never cooked properly. No taste and flavour at all. I asked waiter who is the chef and we would like to talk to him about it. He said he is the chef and he is also serving the food due to absent of the server. We realized there was no chef at all in this place. We will never come back again. Good BYE....
Good if you're local.
The food here is pretty good; it's tasty, though they're reluctant to make anything besides a "mild" level of spice.
Takeout orders that are said to take "ten minutes" take closer to 40 minutes, but this is probably as good as it's going to get in mid-Atlanta.
WONDERFUL!. I ahve been going to this restaurant for a while now and I cannot think of anything extremely bad to say. The food is EXCELLENT. The ambiance is romantic because of the dim lights and the candles on every table. I always order the chicken curry, sag aloo, tandoori chicken, naan bread and basmati rice. Mango lasi is a very refreshing Indian drink consisting of mangos and freash cream. I go to eat here as often as I possible can. Nothing bad about the restaurant or the food, but the location isnt typical. It is located in Little 5 Points and the parking situation isnt the best. You either have to pray for a space to come open ont he street or park at a lot a short block down. Its not bad, but if you dont know your way it can be frustrating. Still, dont let that bother you. GO if you get a chance!
Straight-forward, well priced Indian food. The food here is consistently terrific. I've eaten here 4 or 5 times and never been disappointed. Attentive service, though I have to admit it's never been that busy when I've gone. Nothing fancy or surprising here, just affordable delicious indian food.
