What Our Expert Scouts Say

Brewhouse Cafe
March 14, 2013

Brewhouse Cafe is home to one of the largest patios in L5P and is one of my favorite bars for watching sports. If there's a large crowd on a weekend morning, there's a good chance that the pub's rabid soccer fans are in attendance.

Home to people watching, Euro-sports and the "Pain Killer.". In Short
Comfortably sitting in the heart of Little Five Points, the Brewhouse brings in tattooed locals, people-watchers and European sports buffs … a clientele that makes no sense on paper yet perfect sense in person. Their import-heavy beer selection gives hop hounds reason to cheer and their “pain killer” cocktail (think liquid, boozy cream-sickle) is a sure-fire way to improve any afternoon. You can get pizza and burgers anywhere, so order cuisine built for the environment: fish ‘n’ chips, fingers ‘n’ tots or bangers ‘n’ mash.

this place rocks. If you are in Little Five, definitely stop by the Brewhouse for a beer or six The staff are all cool and vibe is great. It's a sweet summer spot to people watch-- plus the food is great.

Rude and horrible service for medicore food. The staff at this place are so rude. If you want to wait forever while having to deal with the stuck rude staff then come here. The food isnt even that great. This place just needs to be closed down.

Soccer central. As other reviews mentioned, this is the spot in Atlanta to watch English soccer. Fado Irish Pub in Buckhead is way over-crowded for games and parking is a hassle. The Brewhouse patio is one of the best in Atlanta to drink with friends. As far as food goes the chicken fingers here are amazing, so don't let anyone tell you otherwise. Pints of beer can be on the pricy side - go with a bucket of Miller High Life and enjoy.

Food Poisening. If you are going to find a place to eat, Do NOT eat here. My boyfriend ate the pizza with some meat on it and he threw up and got food poisening for the next few days...It was a cool patio, but the service was VERY slow! I would never recommend this place!

THE place for English Football. THE place to go for English Football. You cannot beat the atmosphere if you are after a real pub experience for the matches. Though an Arsenal pub (the owners) you will surely find supporters of all clubs there and enough lively banter to keep you coming back. I have to disagree tho with all this talk of best chicken fingers. Though I love this place, the food is pretty horrible - breakfast or lunch - if you are there on the weekends. Strangely, the weekday menu is different and much better (best bangers and mash - now THAT is the truth).

Come for the football - not to have a meal inside with your friends to chat - and you will never be disappointed.

BAD PLACE TO GO. THIS PLACE HAS NOT TAKEN ME OFF OF THEIR NOTIFICATION LIST IN OVER A YEAR WITH ME CONSTANTLY CALLING THEM UP AND ASKING THEM TO DO SO. IF THIS IS ANY INDICATION OF HOW THEY DO WORK, I WILL NEVER GO THERE.

Bad Management. I used to be a big fan of this bar/restaurant and its patio. The food was good for bar food and the drinks were always cold - but honestly its the patio and the soccer events that everyone's after. But after a recent outing there I've decided never to go back. I was enjoying drinks and a meal at a table with some friends and our food had just come out. There was a small crowd of people standing up drinking by our table who kept putting out their cigarettes in the ashtray in front of our plates as we were eating and leaving their trash next to our food on the table - basically using our table as their dumping ground. We asked them to stop several times and explained to them that normally it wouldn't be a big deal but we were trying to eat and one among the group said strangley "are you serious?" in a mocking fashion. Come to find out it was the management. Nice one. I'll have to look for another patio this summer because I can't in good conscience go back after being treated that way.

Awesome Patio!. I love the brew house for their location and outside atmosphere. Great in the summer and fall with the heat lamps that keep you toasty and awesome fireplaces. YOU CAN BRING YOUR DOG! If you are willing to just chill out and not be in a hurry its a great place to hang out. I stress the patience though, you will not likely be served quickly so be ready to wait a little while.

This pub with a patio offers the perfect spot for people-watching and beer drinking in Little Five.. The Scene
On a sunny day, this Little Five Points pub is packed with beer lovers enjoying friends, watching the Moreland Avenue traffic and basking in the weather. From pierced Little Five regulars to a healthy share of sports fans in khakis, the crowd is as diverse as the import-heavy beer menu. The pub fare is similarly varied, but also includes the normal fried selections. Try a few of the more creative choices such as the Golden Triangle appetizer or the roasted garlic plate.

The Draw
Some of the best people-watching in the city. Grab a prime seat on the patio and watch locals and suburbanites stroll through the hood. With the large selection of brews and daily beer specials, this bar attracts many a beer connoisseur. International sports fans appreciate the bar's dedication to world sports--it routinely stays open for an international soccer or rugby game on the telly.
