“Like another reviewer said, this place is not authentic, but if you don't go in expecting real Asian food, it offers pretty decent food, a c.”
“If you want a great meal that's a little different at a resonable price then this is the place to go.”

good place - avoid the chinese chicken soup. Ok, first, I like the place and pretty much everything has been very good. My wife (Japanese) is a little pickier than I am and turned her nose up at the Chinese Chicken Soup. I was starving so I decided to try it. It was not good. Maybe just a bad day, but there's so much other good stuff on the menue I won't give it a second try.
Heaping Noodle Dishes, Affordable Prices, Groovy Fun. Noodlelicious! Fresh and nutritious stirfries too. I adore the hand rolled dumplings. It's a groovy joint great for a casual date, and ultra affordable. I always take my out of town friends to Doc Chey's! A bonus is that they are very generous with giving back to the community.
I love Doc Chey. This is one of my staples. Doc Chey offers delicious food, speedy service, and great prices. I prefer the Emory location over the Highlands location (the service is better) Jen and Heather rock!!!
Fast, Friendly, & Filling. This place is great, young or old. I'm a diabetic & I always manage to have a great meal. The staff is always accomodating in subsituting the noodles or rice for additional veggies. The best thing, the flavors are never disappointing.
Americanized noodle shop is a big hit in Emory Village with affordable, large portions..
The Scene
This popular noodle shop is a favorite haunt for hungry Emory students seeking out filling, low-priced meals. Endearing in a slightly beat-up kind of way, Doc Chey's features a fun patio, plus functional community seating inside. Service is basic, sometimes friendly.
The Food
Ultra-cheap and just exotic enough, this noodle shop specializes in Americanized Asian food with familiar vegetables and meat. Starters, including crispy shrimp rolls, scallion pancakes and a dumbed-down larb, are hit-and-miss. Noodles bowls at their best are gallon-sized slurpy fun, at least for the first five bites. But under-seasoned pho and an over-spiced Japanese udon are real downers. Still, at six bucks a plate, it's hard to complain too loudly.
Great value. Very tasty food and inexpensive! The service and ambiance are average. If you want a great meal that's a little different at a resonable price then this is the place to go.
