The Scene
Better than your grandparents' attic, this Little Five Points landmark is musty, disordered and crammed with musical gems. The organization makes finding specific albums a challenge, but the staff can usually point you in the right direction and knows what is and isn't in the store. The staff also knows music as well as anyone in town, so make time to get your burning questions answered.
The Goods
There are thousands of new and used LPs, compact discs and cassette tapes, but it's the rows of vinyl that dominate the store. Wax N Facts carries all genres, but specializes in rhythm and blues, progressive and gothic. The selection of new CDs is modest, the assortment of used discs far more impressive.

Screw all of these people reviewing this store talking mail order phone order,If they have no web site how the hell are the selling over the phone or on the web? in person what a concept! Geez! This store remains virtually the same,hell exactly the same as it was the 1st time I walked thru the doors in 1983 & I applaude them for that (They do sell cd's now instead of cassettes) They will order you anything,& have the cool used rock,blues,&country lp's.new release vinyl & dance 12' after scowering the usa for records there may be bigger,better,& more modern stores but this is till one of my favorites. Go there 7-10 years & they will eventually even speak to you! ha ha!

Been in Atl. forever, great selection of used music but still firmly rooted in the 80's with NO website and NO phone or mail sales! I asked as nicely as I could if they could take major plastic and ship an LP but no dice, their market is walk-ins only. Hard to believe in this day and age... Super place if you live nearby, basically worthless if you don't!

This is the place to get that impossible to find or completely obscure album or cd. The place is jam packed with mostly new and used vinyl but they have their share of cd's and tapes. The staff are walking musical libraries and will let you know if they have what you want immediately. Why is that so amazing? Because they don't even use computers in this place and they will gladly help you find anything they can't offer up. The shop is located in L5P and while it smells and looks like your grandmother's attic it is worth a stop if you are looking for something you just can't find anywhere else.

Parking:
If you can't find a space on the street, there's a lot behind Junkman's Daughter (pay at night and on weekends).
The Extras:
Bring some of your dust collectors by and turn a few bucks--or trade them in for something else.
