In Short – Hidden in Candler Park between the Flying Biscuit and an ice cream shop, this boutique is an unexpected source for wedding gowns and a quality find for stylish women's apparel. Traditional, modern, formal, simple, made from vintage lace or modeled after a corset: Dresses have unexpected details that will make you stand out from all the other brides. The staff can accommodate personal requests, such as adding beading to mimic a picture from a magazine.
Great Wedding Dress Experience
by Cheryltiffany
I went to Kelly's closet in April of 2007. I went in with an appointment, but there was a "bridezilla" in there needing everyone's opinion and attention. Kelly told me to look around and grab a few things off the shelves to try on. I saw the perfect dress, tried it on, bought it within 20 minutes and left. I am not the type of person that wants to be fussed over or has to be admired, so this experience was perfect for me. The only thing is that we paid a lot of money for my dress and when I was putting it on to get married, two beads fell off and by the end of the night, one strap had broken. They did have an awesome selection of dresses, pricy but awesome.
interesting selection, good quality

I went to Kelly's Closet on recommendation of a friend. The dresses are different from what you will find at many other more "typical" bridal salons. Unfortunately, they did not have much selection in the type of dress I was looking for - very simple, very elegant, diaphanous. The consultant I worked with was friendly but didn't strike me as being very knowledgeable. Overall, however, it was a good experience.
- Pros: interesting selection of dresses, down-to-earth atmosphere
- Cons: limited selection of simple, elegant dresses
Friendly Faces, Beautiful Clothes

I have visited Kelly's Closet ever since it first opened. The relaxed atmosphere, uncluttered racks, and unique clothes always drew me in. Even my husband likes to shop there! After many years of visiting the boutique, it was the first place I went to try on wedding gowns. The beautiful selection and personal attention I received from the bridal consultants made me want to buy my gown there. While I did visit another shop in town, the experience did not compare. If you are going to spend a lot of money on a couture gown, you want to feel taken care of, not just another customer being shuffled in and out. At Kelly's Closet I felt the consultants were really trying to understand me and the kind of bride I wanted to be. They took time thinking through the options and what made me feel good, not just what made me look good. In the end, I got both. I wouldn't send a friend anywhere else!
- Pros: atmosphere, service, quality
- Cons: sometimes expensive (but worth it!)
