Tips for Inman Animal Hospital

We have been taking our two dogs here for a few years and LOVE it. There is one vet ... Dr. Fowler who you see each time so he gets to know you and your pets. He and his team are a pleasure to work with from the front desk to the vet techs. This is the only vet we have ever been to that takes you in the back with your pet while they are getting their shots, etc. This is great because you get to see what goes on and how your pet is treated. It's also great for your pet as they aren't as nervous if you're there with them. Recently one of our dogs was diagnosed with terminal cancer and Dr. Fowler has been wonderful. He explained our options and prescribed our dog a few meds that have made him seem to feel back to normal. We would recommend this animal hospital to anyone in need of a great vet!!

***In response to the previous one star review. Inman has never charged us for anything unexpected. Before taking x-rays on our dog with cancer they made sure it was ok before proceeding. Any trip to the vet is expensive even if it's just for routine check up and shots. I would suggest if you have an issue with cost or paying for the services you let the vet know so someone can advise you of exactly how much the service will be. They are there to help your pet and assume that when you bring your animal in you can pay for the services!!!***

not cool Inman Animal Hospital, not cool.. At first, I couldn't get over how nice everyone who worked there was.

When I took my dog there (who ended up staying over night) they charged me for tests they ran without my permission, or my knowing and charged me $160 dollars. I was more upset that they ran tests on my dog without my okay to do so, but spending my money without asking? not. cool. They totally took advantage.

Wonderful, caring animal hospital. Three of my friends recommended Inman Animal Hospital after I had a terrible experience at Ansley Animal Clinic. When I brought my adult cat into the Ansley Animal Clinic for his annual checkup, they made us wait outside when it was 36 degrees and snowing because my cat had an upper respiratory infection and was contagious. Heaven forbid I bring a sick cat to the vet! The veterinarian also told me that my cat needed a tooth pulled, which she estimated to cost $400. I was skeptical, so I took my cat to Ansley Animal clinic, and Dr. Fowler told me that my cat didn't need surgery. He saved me $400! The whole staff was wonderful as well!

Like a part of our family. My wife and I have been taking our dogs to Inman Animal for six years. We have always been treated with the greatest respect, and the staff and vets know our dogs by sight. The folks at Inman Animal Hospital are personable, friendly and we have absolutely no qualms about putting our animals in their care.

Sweet Staff. I took my puppy here when she just a baby. Everyone was so sweet to me. When I go in the recognize my dog. When she was sick , they not only calmed her down, but me as well.

They explained things to me about being a new puppy parent and helped me through training problems.

Doctor Fowler is very kind and helpful. He is a great guy and very helpful.

Poor customer service. Front Desk Reps have a holier than thou/abusive attitude toward customers.

Doctors are fine though. Expensive.

Excellent Vet!. We have been taking out pets to Inman Animal hospital for about 7 years or so. I first took a cat there that we adopted who had feline leukemia and became very ill. I was in college at the time and did not have a great deal of money. These guys totally worked with me and helped me to make our kitty as comfortable as possible until ultimatley we had to put her to sleep. They are truly a kind group of people who care about your pets. Everyone at this office has been great to deal with and I wouldn't take my pets anywhere else.

Murderers.. My boyfriend took his 10 year old chihuahua here because we suspected a UTI. They asked how much money he had to spend and gave Bosco an exam, a shot, and some antibiotics. He was just fine and his usual peppy self until the past few days when he stopped barking and was walking a few feet then laying down. At around 4:30 AM last night I heard Bosco barking/yelping in the kitchen and when my boyfriend went to check it out Bosco was laying lifeless on the floor. This "hospital" murdered our happy Bosco boy. I recommend that no one goes to this place.

These fine folks saved my cat!!. I returned from a business trip to find my 13 year old cat in severe distress. Our regular vet was tied up with another emergency that day, so she recommended we go to Dr. Fowler at Inman Park. Dr. Fowler and his staff were very, very kind and went out of their way to help me and my kitty. The guys at the front desk are fabulous! I was so impressed with how caring Richard was with my kitty. Dr. Fowler is a a very genuine, sincere and knowledgeable vet. I liked them so much I baked them cookies later that same day! Thanks, guys!!

Excellent Pet Care and Service. While searching for a new vet for my very sick cat, I read reviews of Inman on a couple of sites that were not so positive, in particular, negative comments about the front desk staff. Since the positive reviews far outweighed the negative, especially those about Dr. Fowler, I took my chances.

My experience was extremely positive, with all the staff. The front desk was caring, polite and interested in my cat. Dr. Fowler was sweet, gentle, caring and explained my cats condition and treatment in detail. One of the assistants cradled my cat and brushed him while Dr. Fowler spoke with me. I found everyone to be true animal lovers and sensitive to me, the owner.

Dr. Fowler himself gave me a tour of the cat boarding area. It was clean and I saw small touches that indicate that great care is taken to insure that the cats staying there are cared for. I will use their boarding facility when I travel next.

On the whole, this was a very pleasant experience. My cat was properly diagnosed and is on the mend. I am extremely grateful to Dr. Fowler and is caring staff. Oh, and their facilty is comfortable and very nicely done.
