“excellent liquor and wine shop”
“They have a great selection, particularly of inexpensive but still great wines.”
“Probably the best liquor store in easy driving distance of the Midtown/Downtown area.”
“Good selection, good prices”

From PBR and keg sales to high end bourbon and wine, Green's has an excellent selection of beer, wine and spirits at some of the lowest prices in Atlanta
Rude People, Poor Service.
Green's may have a good selection of beer and wine but the thing that makes any store worth spending my money at is the service I receive. I have gone to Green's several times throughout the past few years and when I (unfortunately) had to move yesterday I went to Green's for boxes.
It was Saturday, Christmas Eve, morning and I asked the woman behind the counter for five of their boxes. (I don't own much stuff). They had an entire wall of boxes available and she and the manager both refused my request. Not only did they refuse, they were remarkably rude. Merry Christmas, indeed.
I will no longer shop at Green's. I'm not interested in the heaping helping of douchebaggery I get along with my bottle of whiskey.
Best liquor Store in Atlanta!. Greens is awesome! They have an awesome selection of beer. I have tried over 300 different types of beers and over 95% of them have come from Greens. You can talk to the guy that purchases the beer, and he listens to your suggestions, and has been getting a nice variety of good beers. The store has this feel to it. Everytime I go to Greens I have crazy story to tell afterwards. Someone is always up to something at this place. The drunk homeless guys asking for money outside the store on most nights. The d rug addicts drifting up and down Ponce asking for $1. The alcoholic in the store that approaches you with his comedy routine! As I said, it never gets old with this place. Nice liquor selection, and they even have a Belgian Ale room! There are only 2 other places in the entire state that I would visit for beer, and that is Jax in Forsyth, or Macs on West Peachtree.
Colorful chain's superb selection and low prices make it a staple for thirsty Atlantans..
The Scene
The longer the line at Green's, the bigger the holiday. Atlantans flock to Greens on Friday and Saturday nights and flood the place before federally sanctioned family gatherings. To the right, there's a separate wing devoted to all things beer: domestic brews, imports, six packs, cases, you name it. If you want the hard stuff, head to the center of the store. Ample selections of vodka, rum, bourbon, whiskey and more are clearly marked with green signs suspended from the ceiling. You'll find Green's employees bustling about, available to answer questions.
The Goods
In addition to a bevy of traditional brews, Green's offers a formidable list of quarter- and half-kegs. A fine wine cellar, which is kept locked, proudly displays a tower of Dom Perignon amidst some of the store's more pricey spirits; cheaper wines are in bins toward the back. Check the front for non-alcoholic items such as mixers, lottery tickets and numerous forms of tobacco.
The grass is greener. Come here for your spirit of choice and an interesting slice of Atlanta life. Frat guys from neighboring Virginia-Highland wait in line for a keg behind some of Ponces roughest. Its a beautiful place. Greens also offers one of the citys best selections of beer and liquor. The staff is easy as a rum and coke, and will help you find a new vice anytime.
