The Scene – It's a slice of Americana filling two essential niches, a bar-lover's bar and a burger-lover's heaven. It's like a cleaner Moe's & Joe's with a bigger, better burger. .....I would say the place needs a bit of an overhaul. Felt kind of gross. But for what the place is, it was fine.

Best burgers in Atlanta, great dive place in the VA Highlands to take your kids. Even better during the summer, when havin a burger and a brew can't be beat!

George's, the Vortex, and Ann's Hamburger stand are my three favorites in Atlanta for burgers.
All make a good homestyle burger, like those cooked in the old days by mom. BIg, juicy, good sized bun and just about anything you want on them. I like to pick my own stuff, but roasted red bell pepper adds a lot to mine, along with red onion.
- Pros: Easy to find and on the main drag in Virginia Highlands
- Cons: Parking can be hard to find

Virginia Highlands is notorious for difficult parking; at night, you can park in the hardware store's lot next door for only $3. Or drive around the corner to the back of the bar where there's a $3 pay box.
