The only things remotely Mexican about this popular spot are its Corona beer posters and its Nortena polkas. During the warmer months, this cantina becomes a roaring party courtesy of its substantial front patio. Fast, friendly and consistent, El Azteca pumps out all the enchiladas, chalupas and burritos you'd expect. Stick to the bulletproof Americanized favorites, including the combination dinner with its hard-shell taco, cumin-laced ground beef enchilada and molten chile relleno.

Terribly bland food. Are we all forgetting more than one person died due to food from here here? Many better mexican places in town.

I had hope since it looked like a dump the food would be good but no...The eye rolling waitress could not have been any more put out. The food tasted like it was reheated from from the week before. The margaritas are pricey and its all mix. Atlanta is full of great place to eat please take my advice and avoid this one. I see some positive reviews but trust me those writers must be the owners of El Azcrappa because the negative reviews are DEAD ON ACCURATE

Used to come here quite a bit for lunch with friends. Nothing stands out, but it's cheap-and-cheerful--a good place for a beer and maybe a bite with some chips and salsa.
