“The service is awesome and the jukebox and dim atmosphere provide for a nice relaxing evening.”
“If you're looking for a laid back atmosphere, stiff drinks, and great music, you can't go wrong here.”
“. . best wings ever!”
“They have the best fish & chips (not on the menu.”
“This is a great little pub with good draft beer and good munchies- Zero pretention and a great place to meet up with friends before an Indie film at the LeFont.”
“Cool hangout despite awful service”
“the owner patrick was especially attentive, generous and charming.”
“either way it was trully genuine and appreciative service, delicious food and the best juke box i have had the pleasure to play in a long time.”
Cool hangout despite awful service. This is a great little pub with good draft beer and good munchies- Zero pretention and a great place to meet up with friends before an Indie film at the LeFont. The service can be horrible though. We had two servers who were completely rude on the same evening. It may have been something in the air that night. One ignored us after we were sitting there for 30 minutes because it was the end of her shift and she didn't want to bother with us...and made that very clear. The next one who took her place didn't wipe our table and acted completely rude as if it was a colossal pain to take our order. I find it odd that you have to pay for the tortilla chips when you order guacamole or another dip. Park at the supermarket across the street if lot is full.
Awesome Neighborhood Pub. Righteous Room is by far the best neighborhood bar. The service is awesome and the jukebox and dim atmosphere provide for a nice relaxing evening. The food is incredible . . best wings ever!!
What's with the sourpuss?. EVERYTHING about the Rightous Room is FAB-U-LOUS except for the one sourpuss waitress. I don't think she knows how to smile. So sad.
The Righteous Room is the best ever. It's the best restaurant that I've been to here. The food is great.. They have the best fish & chips (not on the menu.. they're so excellent). The service is also great. The servers are all friendly, and they have one of the best looking waiters!
Oh yeah.... I don't know what it is about the ATL and Strip Malls, but they tend to be a haven for decent food-- The Righteous room is a good bar w/ great bar food. Everything I've ever had was great. It isn't haute cuisne, but for bar food / sandwiches this can't be beat. Great Hummus Plate, Veg. Burgers, Turkey Wraps, etc... Quality is good enough to forget it is in a strip mall on Ponce...
starving students, low budgeters,ALERT. The Righteous Room is more than a bar it's great for lunch and dinner too. They have some of the best salads and homemade salad dressings I have had anywere in the city . All their ingredients are fresh and the offerings would please anyone from the granola-crunchy crowd to the Frito-eating frat boys. They have wonderful quesidilas, sandwiches, grilled chicken ,and most importantly to we protien noshers, The BEST burger in Atlanta. Try it yourself, I promise you will like it.
10. Whataburger! Straight and to the point. Not a whole lotta frills. Your occasional Blue cheese burger. Generally just some good red meat on a bun.
Nice low-key bar. Great place to go with friends....not a meat market. Just a good, real bar. Really great juke box as well.
Anytime is the right time .... ... for the Righteous Room. Probably my favorite place to eat and drink in all of Atlanta. A quintessential neighborhood hangout, the eclectic group of folks who congregate here make the place. Though a bit crowded on the weekends, the Righteous Room's laid-back atmosphere is worth several minutes of idly standing in the middle of the place waiting for a table or stool. From the bar's menu, the fatty grilled cheese, righteous salad and potato wedges. Don't order the onion straws unless you're prepared to eat the entire basket. They're highly addictive.
Go During the Week. This bars only fault is that it gets way too crowded on weekends. I guess thats to be expected for a place thats got it all figured out like this one does. Go during the week, or better yet during the day, for rockin onion straws, an easy attitude and a jukebox you can listen to all day.
