Briarcliff animal murderers
by ntyler9 at Citysearch
Dr. Muller should not be called a doctor. He should burn in hell. He murdered by dog selfishly. My tiny baby pomeranian poodle had a small cut on her stomach and he gave us two options: surgery to stich her up with anasthesia or letting it heal naturally but he recommended surgery because "there is a risk of small infections with natural healing"- my personal belief is that that SOB needed the money because the economy is bad and was attempting to sway us toward the more expensive method. Well after my baby came out of surgery she went into cardiac arrest as a result of lung collapse and died. Dr. Muller FAILED to brief us on the risks of the surgery and how pomeranian poodles are the most likely to experience lung collapse as a result of anasthesia. That SOB is a murderer and we are not done with him. That vet will pay for what it has done, especially after we have been going there for 20 something odd years. Beware briarcliff.
- Pros: free parking
- Cons: they murder animals because they are selfish and want $
Depends on the vet

We've taken both our dogs to Briarcliff and respect/trust two of the "senior" vets there, but Briarcliff's Dr. Heather Brooks is a definite no-no! We got home from work and our dog was acting very strangely. He had a fever, swollen lymph nodes, and seemed disoriented. Dr. Brooks was the only vet available and she immediately said it was either cancer or a stroke. She did labs to confirm and told us after two hours that it was just a bad infection and sent us home with antibiotics. Two weeks later, his lymph nodes were still swollen, but he was okayed for dental cleaning surgery anyway. Four weeks after that, his lymph nodes were still swollen and they told us that Dr. Brooks had NOT done a test for cancer like she said and that it was in fact cancer. She is a terrible vet in all ways - bedside manner, competency, and compassion. Because of her delay/lies, the cancer had spread and there was nothing we could do for our best friend.
- Pros: Parking, Not expensive, Caring techs
- Cons: Varying levels of skill between vets
