In Short Closer to Caddyshack than something Bobby Jones was truly associated with (Masters, East Lake), this course needs to exchange its far-sighted barber for a stylist. On many holes, the fairway blends with a forgiving rough, leading to a "grip it and rip it" mentality which rarely punishes a wayward tee shot. (Read: “four” is yelled a lot.) A slick new strand of Champion Bermuda make the greens surprisingly quick in comparison to the rest of the conditions, and gives the course an edge over most of Atlanta’s in-town public tracks. Worst Value in Atlanta

There are plenty of comparably priced (and cheaper) courses in Atlanta that are kept in MUCH better shape (Charlie Yates, John A White, etc). Couldn't tell a difference between the fairway and rough on most of the holes. The greens are brown, not green. I should have worn my work boots - I couldn't understand why there was so much mud even though it hadn't rained in days. They booked so many tee times that we had to wait at least 10 minutes before teeing up at each hole. I am convinced that the only reason people still play this course is because it's in a nice neighborhood. If it was located in similar neighborhoods to those of Yates or Wood, it would go out of business.
In summary, a complete sh*t hole and I would only consider playing again if the greens fees were around $10.

I had a great time playing this course and would recommend it for the price. It is a little further away than other courses, but is fine for a change of pace

Terrible course conditions, poor layout, no amenities, unattentive staff. But it is not expensive.
