HOW TO LOOK AND FEEL YOUR ABSOLUTE BEST:

If you want the PERFECT hair color, you simply must go to JACKIE STEWART (aka the Color Goddess). I have been going to Jackie for almost 20 years because she is the only colorist I know who can match my natural color (strawberry blonde, which is very difficult to do to look natural). Jackie is absolutely worth the price if you want the best result.

Also, about 5 years ago, I started to see CRAIG WEAVER for a new, shorter haircut. So many compliments on my haircut since then! Again, Craig's talents are definitely worth the price!

And now that Carter Barnes has consolidated all of its operations at the Paces Ferry location (a lovely house that provides an intimate, family feeling which I enjoy) and has closed the Phipps Plaza location, I can get everything done in one place in a day. LOVE THAT!

Still searching for a great stylist? Call NIck!!. Finding a great hair stylist can be like finding a needle in a haystack. But if you're still searching, I promise that your search is over! Nick has been my hair stylist for about a year, now, and I cannot say enough wonderful things about him. First of all, he actually listens to what I want and shows me what he's going to do before he does anything! He's a fantastic communicator, and I feel like my vision will always come to fruition--cut, color--everything! And, if you're like me and don't always have a magazine clipping of what you're looking for, Nick asks some questions and manages to figure it out and make it spectacular!! If you're looking for natural highlights a la Jennifer Aniston, a sassy (but manageable in every-day life) hair cut like Scarlett Johansson, long layers like Kate Hudson or Jennifer Lopez, or just about anything under the sun, call Nick. He'll make you feel comfortable, like you're the only person in the room, make you laugh, and pass the time like a best friend. And trust me--like a visit with a best friend, you'll want to keep going back for more.

Jackie rocks!. I moved here...to the big city in 2000, and no one in this town could get my dirty blond hair past day-glow orange. I went to all of the supposed 'high-end' salons that litter north Atlanta...and I ended up with an orange helmet that air traffic control could pick up! I finally happened upon Jackie and the talented ladies at Carter-Barnes and was saved! Truly!!!

Jackie supervises her assistant. I have always been pleased with my color and totally feel at home with Jackie and the entire crew. Despite the local, this place is down-to-earth and they take your look seriously! Jackie, you are loved and you are truly the Goddess!

Thank you Nick!. Nick fit me in at the eleventh hour before a family vacation. His technique is great, and consistent from visit to visit (and from salon to salon, he also does appointments at Carter Barnes Phipps!). I enjoy every moment of my experiences with Nick and the rest of The Carter Barnes staff.

The Color Goddess. Jackie greets everyone with a huge smile, always has some great jokes and is truly gifted with hair color! She gets her reputation honestly by knowing exactly what each of her clients needs to create the perfect look and tone for their hair. She always fits me in at the last minute and leaves me fully satisfied every time!

Expert colorist!. Jackie Stewart and I go back to when we were both with L'Oreal Professional , she was the Educational Manager who hired and helped to train me. She knows her stuff technically and has a great eye for style. Anyone I know who is moving to or looking for a colorist in Atlanta- I highly recommend Jackie!!! She is truly a pro and fun to be around!

Best salon in the Southeast. My mom and I have traveled from South Carolina for 15 years to get hair color and cuts at Carter Barnes on Paces.

Jackie is the color goddess. She knows the products and is experienced, honest and has a great sense of humor.

Guenet is our beautiful hairstylist with a French accent to match the sophistication of her hair cuts. Great blow dry too!

I highly recommend Mojgan for facials and waxing. Overall, Carter Barnes on Paces is a pleasant place to spend an afternoon, everyone is friendly and you leave there looking fresh and lovely.

Best color and products for your hair!. My colorist (Jackie aka "color goddess"), uses her color wizardry to spin my lifeless hair into gold! Her knowlege of color, hair response and the latest products is unmatched. I cannot recommend her enough. _Jutta is an amazing stylist here also. She gives you exactly what you ask for. Try Carter Barnes Salon at Paces, you won't be dissappointed.
