Great Stylists,BUT... I have been going to Jamison Shaw for a few years now and really love stylist, Eddie Macon and some other stylists. Eddie really listens to you, gives a great cut and color, and is always a pleasure.

However, I am strongly considering trying other well-rated hairdresser because of problem with seemingly poor management of salon. I do realize Eddie and some other stylists are educators that are teaching and that because of this apprentices will often be required to perform many steps on your hair. However, I just think there is too much inconsistency in services for such a high quality , expensive salon. I often feel as if I'm being passed around from one inexperienced person after another. The assistants often appear to be

either, frustrated or frazzled, too. It is just not as relaxing , and an enjoyable atmosphere as it should be for pricy salon, and once was. There seems to be frequent work-in or walk-in customers which adds further to confusion. Eddie does a truly excellent job of trying to coordinate all this, he really does. He tries to be attentive as possible and is always very courteous and apologetic, but it's just not reasonable to be there 3-4 hours all the time.

There was also one incident in particular when the inexperienced assistant left foils in too long, leaving one side wrapped longer than the other resulting in much lighter/brassier highlights and alot of toners!.

In conclusion , Eddie, Kim, Amber, Sonja, and Aura(sp?) are all great stylists.colorists----especially Eddie- but , please keep in mind scheduling and try to visit this salon at an offbeat time!

Editorial Review. Salon succeeds with a friendly staff and repeat clientele that doesn't mind paying Buckhead prices.

great stylists. I just recently started using this salon and the first time I went, my stylist Candy, amazed me! My hair is very long and it is hard sometimes to give me something new and fresh while also keeping the length. She made me feel so comfortable and my hair looked amazing. I got complements all the way home! I have been a few times since then and the quality is still great! It's hard to find a stylist that you would feel completely confident in saying "do what you want, I trust you to make me look great" and yet I can honestly say that about Candy. She is a very talented woman!

Great hair!. I love Jamison Shaw. Amber does my hair, and she's awesome. I have really thick hair, and I have had trouble finding someone that can cut it the way I want it, but she does an amazing job. She also does my coloring, and it's great. I was recently in my cousin's wedding, and every stylist in the salon that did our hair commented on how great my color was. It's a little pricey, but it's what I would expect to pay in Atlanta (I usually get out for $150 for cut, color, and tip, but beware that it varies per stylist).

Best haircut & fun. Amber cuts my hair and it has never looked better!!!! I would recommend her to anyone using this salon!!! The color is better than it has ever been.....

amazing experience. I went to jamison shaw a few months ago and i must say it was just an overall great experience. The front desk is so friendly and has one really cute guy... i think his name is chris and cute is definitely an understatement! Amber did my hair and it was great. I highly recommend jamison shaw if you are looking for a friendly atmosphere and a great cut and style!

Brook Pate is my Fav!. I have to say, hands down, that Brook Pate is the best stylist I have ever come to know. I have been to various places all over the US, (and world, for that matter!) and NO ONE has given me a great style and highlights. Enter Brook Pate: I can practically wash and do a sloppy blowdry, and my hair always looks great. This young lady should be in magazines, or have her own show. The entire staff at Jamison Shaw is friendly, (especially Harold, that is at reception), and you will never be disappointed!

Finally.... Each and every time I have allowed myself to shell out the cash for an expensive salon visit (I'm a college student), I have left dissappointed. Not after visiting Brooke at Jamison Shaw... my color, cut, and style were awesome. The atmosphere and conversation was enjoyable and afterward Brooke sent me a postcard telling me that she hoped I enjoyed the visit and my new look. It was a great touch! I suggest checking it out.

A stylist that listens...Kym. I just started going to Kym and she is amazing, she's been there for 11 years and enjoys what she does. She's alway's on time, and you get what you pay for.

Go to Tesa. I started going to Tesa at Jamison Shaw this summer. Yes, prices are very high...but she's wonderful. I highly recommend her...my sister and her bridal party are all getting our hair done there for the wedding!
