Risky/Not Professional. I have had a few negative experiences with Ageless Remedies that make me wonder if they are actually Licensed! These are very risky procedures people are having done and I dont think they take their job seriously! The front desk is nice & friendly but there is a serious lack of Professionalism! I was about to write the Owner a letter but hopefuly this will suffice!
Botox & Juvederm. I enjoy trying several different spa. I went here for my Botox and Juvederm. It was an NP that did my service. She was very friendly and was careful to understand what I was trying to achieve.
My skin is great!. I had an objective to look younger for my 20 year high school reunion. We identified the things the bothered me the most: Wrinkles around by eyes, brown spots, wrinkles around my mouth and large lines between my nose and mouth. I worked with several members of the staff. A Physicians assist that managed all the botox and Juvederm treatments. Loved her. Medical technicians that managed the laser treatments, microdermabrasions and peels. Everyone was so knowledgable! We could see the results thru the before and after photos we took. My reunion was a blast!
Worst Microdermabrasion treatment ever!!!!.
First off, let me say that I've had microdermabrasion done a few times, so I know what to expect out of the treatment.
I went to Ageless Remedies after doing my research and calling different spas to compare prices. Ageless Remedies was on the high end at $150, but the lady on the phone assured me that this included a full facial, so it sounded like a good deal.
Once I got there and got into the treatment room, I immediately found it to be odd that there were bright, FLOURESCENT lights on. I asked the 'esthetician' if she could dim them, and she claimed she couldn't, because she needed to see what she was doing. Ummm ok. Every other time I've gotten microderm at a spa, they DEFINITELY had the lights on low. And they still were able to "see what they were doing."
So from the jump, it was not a relaxing experience AT ALL. Then the chick starts the microderm, which was painful. It typically is uncomfortable, but shouldnt be painful! And I kid you not, she performed microderm on my face for MAYBE 3 or 4 minutes. AND THAT WAS IT!!!! She then wiped my face quickly with some sponges and started putting some lotion on me.
I already was annoyed because she was doing such a half-ass job, but I kept my cool. I then asked, 'Doesn't this include a facial?' This slacker had the nerve to respond by ASKING me, "Well what do you consider a facial??"
Ummm, are you f'n kidding me??? She then stated that they are a medical spa, and all their treatments are 'straight to the point'. WOW. I'm sorry....medical spa or NOT, I think if it is implied that a customer is to receive a facial, then they should do so. And it should be relaxing!!!
Needless to say, I was extremely upset that I paid $150 for such b.s.!!! And I'm even more mad that I didn't complain about it. I would never, EVER go there again. With the economy being as bad as it is, you would think people would put a little more effort into trying get repeat customers.
Don't waste your money!!!!
Excellent Laser treatments. This was the best experience I have ever had. Gloria Barnett is an injectable expert and spent so much time educating me on options.
