“find the food to be very affordable and tasty.”
Lovely furniture, tasty food. I think this store is lovely with lovely home furnishings, but they are on the pricey side. I find the food to be very affordable and tasty...especially for weekend lunch or brunch.
Inconsistent and Rude.
I've eaten here about six or seven times now and I probably won't be going back. The first time I was there I had the most fantastic eggs benedict I have ever eaten, the next time I ordered them there, the sauce was cold, the eggs overcooked and the muffin not at all. So I stayed away from the eggs benny from then on, and it's the same thing with their other offereings: completely inconsistent. Today I was served a ham and cheese sandwich (Paris Baguette) with so much butter on it that it was inedible - it was still too much after scraping as much as possible off. The last one I had there was perfect. That was actually the day my friend did not get what he ordered and ended up in an argument with the ook. I won't risk it again and won't be going back. Shame too, because when they are on , they're on!
Complaints are met with ire and astonishment.
The staff is aloof and not attentive.
Johnson Ferry Location - Possibly the worst dining experience I have ever had!. First impressions - all the empty tables still had dishes from the previous diner 20 minutes or more after they had left and the pricing was very high for what you get. After ordering we waiting for a table to be cleared before we could sit. Then, after sitting at the table for 15 more minutes we were informed that the menu item we ordered was no longer available. Waiting another 20 minutes we finally received our meal which consisted of the most unimpressive food I have seen and the soup was barely room temp. Overall - very poor dining and extremely overpriced.
A taste of Provence in Buckhead's West Village..
The Scene
With so many cute gift shops in Buckhead's West Village, it's hard to establish a distinctive presence. But C'est Moi's cozy, gabled cottage does just that with true savoir faire. A creaky wooden floor, cathedral ceiling with rustic beams, lace curtains and pine hutches stuffed with colorful pottery transport shoppers to Southern France.
The Goods
The primary focuses here are informal tableware and fine linens, though the store also carries a little antique furniture and other gifts. Though not all merchandise hails from Provence, lines like Italy's Vietri pottery also exude a sunny, Mediterranean flavor. And in case you somehow miss the French connection, there's a fun, almost kitschy selection of Eiffel Tower-themed stationery. In the tiny but delightful children's area, you can find, of course, Madeline toys. The store also stocks hard-to-find Irish stoneware by Nicholas Mosse, whose pastoral scenes fit surprisingly well into this provincial setting.
