If you're trying to find Jalisco at the Peachtree Battle shopping center, you'll know that you've found it once you see a line spilling out the door. Old school gringo Mexican has Buckhead residents coming out in droves

Simple Tasty Mexican Fare.. The meals are tasty and the staff is friendly. I have the enchilladas everytime I go there. Everyone should have some Jalisco in their life!!!

Eat out a ton, and this tops the charts!. For Mexican, you can't beat Jalisco is Buckhead, or rather Atlanta. Some of the best service, friendly wait staff, greeeeat food. Would eat there 3 times a week or more.

Fast & Good! Peachtree Battle Lunch!. We have been going here for so many years, I can't remember how many. Just good honest, basic Mexican fare, and is it ever fast. Many of our neighbors have their names on little brass markers, for their favorite seats. No fancy gourmet preparations, the combo's are on target, and so are the prices for lunch!

Miss it So Much!!. I have moved from Atlanta to Florida and miss this place so much! Very friendly and GREAT food! The salsa is the best anywhere, hands down. Great prices and very family friendly. Will go back when visiting without question.

the best ever.
this is the best mexican restaraunt in atlanta and in the worldand to think about it is not only the best mexican restaraunt it is the BEST RESTARAUNT IN THE WORLD!!!!!!!
p.s. i highly recomend a bean burrrito supremo and the cheese didp with jalepenos and if you are southern there sweet tea is divine!!!!!

Stick to the basics at this Buckhead family favorite for simple Mexican fare..
The Scene
Strategically nestled near the Baskin Robbins, humble Jalisco garners special mention for being one of the first Mexican restaurants in Atlanta. The restaurant has grown up with the neighborhood, and the folks who came here as children are back with children of their own, making this a family destination. Speedy service and bright yellow walls adorned with Mexican knickknacks should keep even the most restless kids content.
The Food
You won't find anything even approaching exotic on the menu, but basics like tacos, enchiladas and burritos are all well represented. It's advisable that you stick with the simpler dishes. For The the more adventurous, there's the carnitas dinner with pork tips and a side of beans and yellow rice. With an ample a la carte menu and a child's plate available, it's the ideal place to introduce the next generation to a proper Friday night tradition.

Home Cooking. Jalisco is my absolute favorite restaurant! My family goes there ever wednesday without fail, and sometimes even comes back friday. The service is quick and friendly and love kids. And the cheese dip is amazing! And the decorations are collected from all over in Mexico. Definitely a restaurant that cares about their customers coming back or even becoming regulars.

Great Food. I have been going to Jalisco for years, the food is excellent and they have the fastest service in town. This is not your get drunk on margaritas type of place but it is for people who love great mexican food.

Cheap comfort food. Jalisco does what they do very well namely, inexpensive simple Mexican meals. It can get crowded here and you might spend some time waiting for a table. Once inside, though, service is speedy. Not the kind of place youd likely linger over dinner. A good option for the kids, though its a bit of a tight fit inside.
