I'm a regular. My mother recommended this place to me, so I went with her yesterday and tried it out. The staff is very friendly, attentive and all smiles. I started off with the spinach salad with Oriental Tofu Dressing, I couldnt stop eating it even when my main course came out. I ordered the veggie burger which came with these juicy Sweet Potato fries. The burger was light and juicy and you can tell it was made to order, they make it out of brown rice. I thought it was delicious. I ordered the hummingbird cake for dessert which I refuse to believe was vegan, the soy icing was rich and yes, it was that good!!!!!! Overall the food was good, the service was pretty fast and the bill was cheaper than I thought!!!!!!!!!!

I will definitely be coming back.

Great Vegetarian food in the heart of Buckhead. I've driven by this place several times without ever stopping in. I took a chance one night and glad I did, I will be a regular. The neighborhood, in spite of being in Buckhead, is just "okay" to look at. However, It's right beside the Atlanta Fish Market.

The food is delicious, the prices are very reasonable. It's hard to decide between fast food for lunch at $8 max or vegetarian at $25. THIS PLACE PROVES YOU CAN HAVE VEGETARIAN for the SAME PRICE. I'd much rather spend $7 here then any fast food restaurant any day.

Entrees were $7-ish and the sandwiches $5-ish. The veggie burger tasted like a real burger, and not the usual frozen veggie pattie.

Wonderful Vegan Dining Experiences. Do you want a dining experience that will leaving you SIMPLY appreciating vegetables? A visit to VeggieLand will definitely provide you with such! I have been dining in this wonderful restaurant since the early 1990s. I used to drive from Cobb Pkwy at lunchtime to get their sweet potatoe fries and veggie burger! When I left the ATL for a few years, every visit back HOME included at least one trip to Veggieland! Now I drive from downtown ATL to buckhead at least twice a week! The food is fabulous. You can cleanly tasted the vegetables, because there is no EXCESSIVE seasoning! The variety in entrees does not allow one to become bored easily, and the service is SUPER! Happy has never forgotten my name!!!!!! IT IS A WONDERFUL DINING EXPERIENCE!

anticipation to return awaits. My mom, sis, and I found ourselves wandering aimlessly around Buckhead on our first visit. We had researched and dined at a few upscale restaurants with good reviews, yet when we spontaneously ate at Veggieland, a hidden treasure in my eyes, we enjoyed ourselves and the food much more than the other places. The atmosphere is very comfortable and relaxed...i was surprised we were the only customers at the time, as the quality and taste of the food are amazing. This is one place in Atlanta of which I anticipate another dining experience. Although my memories aren't recent or vivid, I just remember an amazing dessert and amiable staff. I will be returning to Atlanta in a couple weeks and assure you that this will be one of my first stops.

Vegetarian/Vegan delight in the heart of Buckhead. A vegetarian/vegan delight in the heart of Buckhead! Everything my husband and I have tried has been wonderful. And it is always fresh tasting. The prices are very reasonable and the service is excellent. Happy and Marie make you feel welcome every time you walk through the door. Save room for one of their delicious vegan desserts!

Reliable vegan food thrives in the heart of the Buckhead.. The Scene
Veggieland has carved a place for itself in between the enormous copper-plated fish sculpture of the Atlanta Fish Market and the raucous music of a neighboring pool hall. Lunch is the big meal here, drawing a crowd that ranges from ladies who nibble to Midtown boys and the occasional Buckhead businessman still woozy from the night before. Service is scrupulously attentive.

The Food
Varied and full of surprises, this vegan menu offers everything from Mexican food to Asian food, with traditional vegetable dishes showing up on the same page as faux duck. The vegetable dishes are the safest bet. An eggplant stir fry is fresh and bursting with flavor. The Western sandwich with its faux bacon is a minor soybean miracle. For dessert, try the tofu cheesecake. It tastes nothing like cheesecake, but it's amazingly good.

Great food!. Simply wonderful food and very reasonable prices! Friendly! Their veggie burgers are just amazing, I crazed another one after I finished the first one.

Love it!. Been going for the past two years. Happy the beautiful host will always steer you in the right direction. Get the salad with the house dressing - so fresh! For desert have the Hummingbird Cake - Wonderful.

Go Vegetarian!. excellent food , excellent price, the ONLY way to go vegetarian in Buckhead!
