Patagonia's Capilene polyester wicks moisture from your skin,dries quickly and is softer than a lot of polypro on the market Capilene is in Patagonia long underwear, boxer shorts, shirts, tops and glove liners and is a staple for climbers, bikers and runners. Original animal pins ($5-$20) are made by Juneau artist William Spears. At the high end, jackets and other gear specifically designed to weather alpine expeditions, costs well into the hundreds.
