A cosmopolitian loft-like boutique full of chic, contemporary styles for urban living..
The Scene
The loft-like setting, with white walls and exposed pipes, is the perfect foil for Peoples' minimalist palette. With its back to the West Village's cutesy cottages, this storefront boutique has a cosmopolitan flavor--more like downtown Chicago than midtown Atlanta.
The Goods
Look for luxurious fabrics like cashmere, leather and suede in a mostly neutral palette of blacks, grays, browns and taupes. There's nothing too flashy, just way-cool lines and details. The main floor features sophisticated dresses, suits and separates for business or leisure. Downstairs is a bit more colorful, with stacks of designer jeans and T-shirts. Popular lines include Nicole Farhi, Rene Lezard, Strenesse and Halston. Loyal clients become so addicted to Peoples' look that they coordinate their entire wardrobes here.
