Editorial Review for Luna – by Ginger Massey
The Scene
Luna reeks of high fashion, with its blond hardwood floors, wide-open racks and cheerful colors. Couple this with an encouraging staff, and you've got an overspending temptation hard to overcome.
The Goods
Coveted that skirt in InStyle magazine? You'll likely find it here. Luna dresses hippie-chic babes and party-girl vixens in the latest designs by Theory, French Connection, Michael Star, Seven, Free People and the like. Head to the back of the store for a small, but outstanding, selection of boots and heels. Gift ideas are scattered about the store: bath products, makeup, aromatic candles, ornate pillows, coffee table books, jewelry and handbags. The latest looks don't come cheap, but right beside that couture skirt you just might find a moderately priced sweater.

Initially, I went into Luna because I saw the trendy window fashions. Once inside, I walked around for nearly 15 minutes and none of the sales associates even greeted me, let alone asked if I needed any help. When I was leaving I asked if they could direct me to a boutique, Freche, that was close by because I had never been. The two associates blatantly lied about not knowing where it was and insisted there was no such shop around. When I finally located Freche, about a minute WALKING distance from Luna and on same street, I was informed that Luna knew quite well where they were but misdirected me to be nasty about me wanting to give their competition a look. In fact, the associates often go into Freche to spy their styles or black ball their lines. Freche is friendly, trendy, hot, and a great buy. I will never step in Luna again, although contrary to their treatment, "I can afford their fashions." :0)
Pros: Variety
Cons: Poor Service & Unethical

I love Luna! They always have super cute things - from really classic pieces to very trendy items. I can't go in as much as I'd like because I always end up spending too much money, but the prices aren't any more than other boutiques carrying similar styles/brands.
