This loud, well-lit and colorful dining space housed alongside a showcase bakery and espresso bar serves trendy Buckhead types as well as a strong contingent of older regulars, who spend hours here. Service is hit and miss, but is usually friendly.

The Food
At Corner Cafe, the formula is simple--freshly baked breads combined with top-quality ingredients. A sandwich of hot ham and gruyere cheese on chewy parisienne bread is deeply satisfying. The gruyere's sweet nuttiness perfectly compliments the slightly salty ham. A chicken salad club, loaded onto sturdy sunflower wheat bread features hunks of chicken breast and a bit too much mayonnaise. Factor in the sandwich's accompanying bacon and avocado, and it makes for a very rich lunch. Salads also offer a pleasing option. A chicken quesadilla salad combines cheese and chicken breast and a rich tomato salsa seared in a crispy flour tortilla with crisp salad greens tossed in a light vinaigrette. Save room for dessert?
