Pricci

Great Italian and one of Buckhead Life's best; all the pasta dishes are great and the people watching alone is worth the price of admission!

Pricci is home to what may be the best house bread & cheese you will have. Awesome pastas and veal meatballs too!

Best Food Anywhere. I took a group of customers to Pricci's in December 2006 and loved it so much, I returned with my husband for our anniversary in October 2007. Everyone agreed it was the best food. Service is fantastic, wine selection was delightful and I'm still craving the food. I will use whatever excuse I can to return to Atlanta just to dine at this restaurant.

They'll 2nd/3rd shelf liquor you on 1st-shelf drink orders. My first drink order, a Grey Goose and soda, was not honored by wait servers (medicinal tasting vodka + soda instead). Tanqueray choice was honored for my second drink, but not on the second round (it was snake-bite gin). I strongly counsel you to return drinks the first round if they're playing you.

The cod was unevenly cooked. Espresso was not worthy of Starbucks (maybe Nestle instant? Not even Illy, unless they made coffee two days ago and warmed it up in a microwave). Went to use the restroom and urine was steaming in the toilet it was so cold!

very, very good. IWe have been to this restaurant twice and loved it both times. We have already made reservations for our yearly holiday dinner. Both times our waiters have been very good and very knowledgeable about the menu.

Before ever going to Pricci , I used to drive by and see it on Pharr Road and always wanting to eat there. After the first time I was hooked.

Will Be Back. Had only been to Pricci once, several years ago. Great service, our server had great knowledge of the wine list. Delicious calamari and prosciutto. My veal parm was overcooked (be aware that the portion is huge and the leg is still attached) and I heard around the table that both the sea bass and halibut were subpar. Will definitely be back but will stick to pasta.

Excellent Food. Excellent food. My partner and I had the pasta dishes and also desserts and it was fantastic. Fresh, authentic and not heavy at all for Italian food. High recommended.... great job.

nothing out-of-this-world. I have always liked Pricci, but don't go there often enough because my wife hates it (not sure why--it's Italian, so that might be part of it). I think it's good food and the service has always been great. I guess it just doesn't come to mind when I think about amazing restaurants in Atlanta. I was shocked to hear about someone else's complaint on here re: the treatment she and her fiance received, but that would make me also never want to return to a place. I'm sorry this happened to her. If you're going to spend this amount of $$ on dinner, I would go elsewhere.

Insulting Service, Mediocre Food. Overall, very disappointed with the service. Firstly, even though we had reservations, we were kept waiting for 20 minutes past our reservation time. Secondly, while trying to order a drink at the bar, we had to flag down the bartender several times before receiving attention and then had to virtually beg for our bill. Thirdly, our waitress was terrible, very inattentive and rude. Never brought one drink even when reminded, and kept refilling the other, "conviently" forgetting to mention that each time, we were being charged. Generally, the price of the food did no where near reflect the quality of serivce we received. Pricci should pay more attention to guests under the age of 35.

Great Customization & Service. The food was better than good, though not very authentic Italian the chef clearly went out of his/her way for us. We practically had to 'make our own pasta' because I'm vegetarian & even though this is one of the more vegetarian-friendly places in Atlanta they didn't have what we wanted. They bent over backwards to accomodate all our special requests. The service was SO GREAT and attentive, customized food to wine recommendations that really made sense. Our waitress for the evening was truly the best I've seen in a long, long time. The place and the decor were charming - we loved it and i'll definitely be back.

Overrated. Unlike some of the other reviews, I found my experience at Pricci to be average at best. It took over half an hour to be seated with a reservation and the service was nothing spectacular. The food was good, but not worth the price tag. I don't expect to be back any time soon.

Top-Notch Service Meets Top-Notch Food. My experience at Pricci was one of extreme attentiveness and luxurious decadence. I called in advance to make a reservation, and told the Maitre'd that I was bringing my mother with me for her birthday, after which I was assured it would be a memorable experience.

Fast forward two weeks. From the moment we stepped through the door into the eclectic yet cohesively decorated restaurant, the Maitre'd recogized our reservation without us even having to give a name. We were promptly seated and received a medley of appetizers. As everyone has said here, the marinara and goat cheese was absolutely to die for. As a wine enthusiast, I have to say that Pricci's wine list is extensive and appropriate for the cuisine. They carry several obscure wines from small vinters, and it was at Pricci's that I can safely say I enjoyed the finest Merlot I've ever had.

But I digress, this review is not about the food (though from the appetizers to the immaculately decorated dessert my mother received in honor of her birthday were all exquisite), it is about the service. Our server was very knowledgable about the menu, if a little soft-spoken, but what truly amazed me was the extensive service we received from the Maitre'd (who served us our entrees and desserts), the Manager (who came to introduce himself as he served our appetizers) and the Head Chef, who made it a point to stop by and wish my mother a happy birthday.

I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone who appreciates a fine dining experience in a relaxed, yet refined atmosphere. Oh, and of course, there's the excellent food if all the other reasons don't quite entice you.
