The Scene – Pricci impresses diners with its flashy, whimsical atmosphere and out-to-please service. Designed by the famed Pat Kuleto, the restaurant blends glamour with a love for all things lunar--moon sconces playfully wink at diners, while light fixtures resemble the satellite's pockmarked surface. Add the excitement of an open kitchen and you've got a restaurant perfect for light-hearted gatherings and jovial birthday dinners. The kitchen, which showcases roasted meats and lighter seafood dishes, competently merges modern Italian tastes with regional classics. Translucent sheets of…
My favorite Italian place
by mt123
Went there last night with Valentines Day reservations - despite an unbelievable crowd, we were seated rather quickly at an awesome table. Our waiter, Marcus, was great, attentive and relaxed as always despite the busy night. We were pleasantly surprised that the prix fixe menu had so many courses and prime selections. Favorite part was the salmon entre which was huge, and the best tasting salmon I have had. We'll definitely go back.
- Pros: Very diverse menu - even if you are not totally in mood for Italian, will be something to please such as seafood or steak. Can bring your own special bottle of wine for minor corkage fee.
wonderful italian food -- just ignore the snooty hostess

Even with a reservation, there's often a short wait to be seated. Nice bar and old-time, diner-like atmosphere. The food is consistently good. The waiters are friendly and knowledgeable. It's a little loud and the atmosphere doesn't lend itself to a romantic dinner, so my husband and I like to go here with friends. We had the price fixed menu the other night. $39 for 3 courses, including wine -- great value and delicious as always. If you order wine by the glass, they serve it in a small carafe, which I like.
- Pros: consistent, delicious
- Cons: wait even with reservation, snooty hostess
No place for a special occassion unless you eat there often.

Pricci's kept us waiting for 45 minutes with a reservation for a special occassion and then tried to seat us in the bar. I asked to speak with the manager who was indifferent.
While the food was good, it hardly qualified as a fine dining experience as the price would indicate.
