They lied to me. I called in advance about parking my oversize van. They said it would be no problem. However, the valet parking man told me I was out of luck - and directed me to park down the street. I eventually found a place to park - you can't park on the unattended lots on a Sunday night without moving them by 6 the next morning - then I had to walk through the downtown gauntlet of bums and beggars to get back to the "hotel".

Because of this experience, even though I loved going to Dr King's old neighborhood, I will not return to this horrible city.

Marriott Marquis Atlanta spa horrible, stay away!!!. terrible, just terrible. Horribly managed, conning people for money. I have never felt more stressed. Front staff is untrained, called for appointment and sh never asked me what services I wanted. Called back and she had chosen services for me. Huh???? Never again.

Nice Place. Just finished our stay this weekend with 50,000 screeming Cheerleaders...just have to say very nice place even with all the kids running the halls...Staff is first class, room very nice but needs updated interior wall hangings... bath room nice and clean, but small... doormen very professional and quick...internet free for 24 hrs in Lobby area $12.95 in room with limits...(hook up free in Lobby then go to room to get around this extra cost)...Our Rating 4 1/4 out of 5...Dont forget loose cash for tips you will not hesatate to tip...hope to come back

Great Hotel BUT...... It's a great hotel but if any of you are looking to save some $$ then book it at referer.us/8/GoodHotelDeals They usually have some pretty good deals on there!

Free night. Its a great hotel. I got several rooms for friends on new years eve. It was a blast. The service was excellent and the bar staff was funny as cr@p. The only draw back was some unruly neighbors next to one of my rooms. I simply presented the problem to the management and they gave me a second night for free

This downtown high-rise has a variety of room rates and doesn't skimp on the atmosphere or the amenities.. The Scene
The entire edifice of the downtown Marriott Marquis curves disconcertingly. Slim on top, the building billows outward as it reaches ground level, giving the impression that it might be pregnant with a little Marriott. The hotel's atrium is 48 stories high, ringed with intricately shaped balconies, which rise in concentric circles leaving visitors gasping. The shock rests in the size and surreal beauty of this internal architecture, which looks like the giant ribs of a massive creature. A prominent tower carries elegant glass-cage elevators silently into the 515-foot chasm.

Free health club and massage center, indoor and outdoor pools, full valet service, and generously appointed, spacious private rooms complete this unique experience. Add location to the list of amenities, as the hotel is central to the downtown shopping and business district as well.
