“This hotel is not a good value for the money.”

Great location. Walkable to all the downtown shopping and close to MARTA for the excursions beyond downtown's hustle & bustle. Spacious, clean rooms and courteous service.
Greedy Manager Sells Rooms With Reservations!.
From the look of the hotel and the great valet service I think I would have given this Hyatt 4 - 5 stars. But, that all went out the window the moment I was told that the room I booked over a month ago was sold to someone else. So you all know I am a beyond loyal Hyatt guest. My wife and I had our wedding at a Hyatt, I had my wedding shower at a Hyatt, and more business events than I can count. In addition when I travel on business (which is all the time) I will go out of my way and pay more to stay with Hyatt. Out of the hundreds of Hyatt's or any other hotel in my life, this was the most unforgivable thing ever done. Hyatt you better come up with something big for me to forgive you for this. 12am and you kick me out of your location and put me into some 2nd rate, off the beaten path hotel. Thanks Hyatt!
I really hope that manager gets transferred to some horrible Hyatt in Alaska or something so I never have to deal with his greed screwing up my stay again!!!
Great Hotel BUT.... It's a great hotel but if any of you are looking to save some $$ then book it at referer.us/8/GoodHotelDeals They usually have some pretty good deals on there!

easy, nice and this place is very clean. the place is clean and the staff is very friendly.
The friendliess hotel I've ever been in. I stay in a lot of hotels around the world and this is by far the friendliess staff around. As they pass they acknowlege you, if you need anything they let you know they are available, no matter what floor you are on. I've never had so many conversations in my life. It seems as if the employees enjoy working here. I haven't had any problems, it was easy check-in, easy check-out. Would stay here again in a heartbeat.
comfortable stylish buckhead hotel. for the money, which is nominal compared to other luxury hotels in the area, this Hyatt gives you value, luxury, and location in the buckhead district. great for family vacations so that you are near all of the buckhead amenities such as shopping, dining, entertainment, as well as great for couples wanting an adult atmosphere in the heart of Atlanta sophistication.
nice place to stay. The service is great. My family and I stayed at this hotel when they were visiting Atlanta. It has reasonable prices for its well known location. The hotel staff is helpful and approachable. Our rooms were basic, but they were clean. We received A+ service for the standard room. This is the kind of treatment you would expect from someone staying in a suite. We had a comfortable stay, and I would go back again.
peeling paint.. This hotel had peeling paint all over the room. Nice setting and interesting architecture, but I was horrified to see that it was in terrible state of disrepair. They desparately need attention.
Horrible Service. Called for special anniversery weekend. Paid extra for an ungraded room. Arrived, only had 2 doubles available (On an Anni?) Anyways, even more nightmare they charged my card twice. Left messages for the GM, and wrote corporate, no real response. Will not stay again
Central, well-regarded, opulent--the blue-topped Hyatt is worth the expense..
The Scene
While the building itself is rather plain, the futuristic, electric-blue UFO which tops the Hyatt Regency Hotel is unmistakable. This massive blue dome, which looks something like the western hemisphere floating 500 feet in the air, is one of the city's most recognizable landmarks. The rooms are expensive, ranging from $145 to $708, but you're not worried about greenbacks if you choose to stay at this location.
The Details
The blue dome is actually the rotating Polaris Restaurant, and it's just one of the impressive amenities at this world-class hotel. After savoring the view--and the dinner--visit the spacious atrium at ground level, which houses a 120-foot-tall freestanding sculpture, a cocktail bar under a suspended canopy and glass-bubble elevators which glide effortlessly into the sky.
