Great Hotel BUT...... It's a great hotel but if any of you are looking to save some $$ then book it at referer.us/8/GoodHotelDeals They usually have some pretty good deals on there!
Free coffee refills and budget rates make this motel tops with highway travelers..
In Short
The first Super 8 opened in Aberdeen, S.D., in 1974, charging $8.88 a night. Today, the national franchise, with its familiar red-and-yellow sign, still stands for dependable rooms at wallet-friendly prices. A staple for road-tripping families, truck drivers and tour groups, the motel offers complimentary morning coffee and continental breakfasts. Another perk for travelers: Super 8 travel cups may be refilled for free at any of the motel's locations.
Great deal for downtown!. This hotel is a great deal for downtown! We were able to save about $20 by booking through Citysearch. Our room was clean and comfortable, and appeared to have been recently renovated. Ask for a room on an upper floor if you don't want to see a brick wall out your window. Simple continental breakfast was a plus, but nowhere did they warn us about the $10 parking fee. Parking is in a garage across the street. Walking back to the hotel from the garage late at night was okay, but I wouldn't feel comfortable walking around this area of downtown after dark unless I was with a large group.
