Tips for Fair Trade Plumbing & Water

October 26, 2012

I love these guys. Dan and Ken have been fixing all of our plumbing issues for over 5 years and I enjoy working with them. Like Donnie R, I was very upset with Razatab's review. I can't speak to her experiences, but I have had only positive interactions with these guys. They are quick to answer my calls and provide quality service.

Great local business. Was looking up the phone number for Fair Trade Plumbing when I viewed "razatabs" review.

FTP has had my business for over 10 years, always provided prompt and quality service. Which is why I am very upset to see Razatab's review. Everyone is entitled their own opinion when it comes to judging quality of service; but to call someone a racist because they have a Georgia State Flag on their vehicle is ridiculous, not to mention slanderous and show's that person's true character. Getting another plumber's opinion is your right as a consumer, but just because someone sells you what you want to hear doesn't justify taking a personal vendetta against a company.

Like I said before this company has serviced my home for 10 years; we have their magnets on the fridge! Danny knows me by name when I call and has always fixed all of my plumbing systems needs whenever they get out of whack. I love the fact that they're a local business who provided quality service at an honest rate, and during times like these we need to support our local economies (small businesses). If you're looking for a strait shooter who gets the job done, look no further than the Fair Trade Plumbing brothers.

Just Want To Warn Others. This company uses price gauging techniques. They charged me $500 and did not fix my problem which was clogged pipes (nothing out of the ordinary). They were at my house from approx 10:30 am-5:00 pm "claiming" they were doing everything to fix my plumbing issue which included jetting my pipes with water and pulling my toilet and running a snake through the connection. The end result was that they told me I had a broken pipe and that there was nothing they could do but dig up my front yard which would cost $2000. I told them I would need to get estimates and I paid them the $500 that they "claimed" I owed them. I called another plumber after they left. He ran a snake through the pipes in my basement, and immediately unclogged them. He fixed my problem within an hour. He also told me that I didn't have any broken pipes because there was no mud on his snake. I hope no one else makes the costly mistake I made by dealing with these racist crooks who proudly flaunt a rebel flag on their service vehicles. I am an African-American female with a relatively nice home, and this company chose to take advantage of me in a very stressful time of not being able to use my bathrooms, instead of trying to form a good business relationship with me. My husband and I own three other properties and would have gladly given them more business had they chosen to be honest people. Please steer clear of this company.
