If you want to have the major stress of your live your living conditions then choose Lake Harbin Apartments. The office staff is rude, unprofessional and lie. I paidmy deposit and had my move-in date set a month before moving in. My apartment was still not cleaned when I was moving in. The manager stated it would not be ready for 2 more days and offered no assistance in paying for a hotel. The apartment was paid for. and they still did not have the apartment clean after a month. The manager was yelling at me not even listening to what I had to say. When really I should of been the one yelling.
1. Constantly flooding in the apartment. The carpet man is on the complex daily. I had flooding, they came and vacuumed up the water over and over without fixing the problem. They removed my padding and took 5 months to replace it.
2. Look under the sinks in the kitchen and bathroom. There are huge holes where rodents, not small ones, huge rodents will wonder in to your kitchen.
3. The apartment you view will probably look better than the one you move in.
4. There are only 2 maintainence men for the whole huge complex.
5. A neighbor was shot close to my bedroom window. The police had been to the apartment several times. The office did nothing but give noise complaint letters. Also the manager told me her employees never even told her about the shooting.
6. Infesttttted with red ants, water and spiders. Air conditioners are under trees, so insects come in through there.
7. The old alocholic blonde manager and Quovadis an employee are the worst.
Cheap rent...you get what you pay for....dirty apartments, dirty neighbors, rodents, risk of shooting, loud neighbors.
- Pros: nothing
- Cons: Staff, crime, dirty, loud neighbors, Quovadis
