I hired her to design & install beds in front of my house. Afterwards I had a REAL pro take a look. He pointed out that the shrubs were way too close to the house & walkway (about 12"). It was a really crappy "design". All she did was sit in the car while her son & a day-laborer did all the work. She said she had "allergies". She removed my landscaping fabric & said "I don't know what that is" (they just didn't want to work around it). She also agreed to come back monthly to maintain my other many beds. When she left, she said "See you in a month". I never saw her again. Most of the plants died & I had to start over from scratch. Luckily I hired a real pro this time. She's all talk. Beware.

I'm in a complete panic as we hired Carol's Green Thumb in late April. She picked up a check for half of the job price & cashed it May 3. It has been one delay after another-her dog died, the rain, waiting on sod. Now I can't reach her at all & SHE HAS MY MONEY!!! Do not use this very unreliable company!!

I hired this company after my house had caught fire. They did the sod, grading, and flower beds for me. Several of my bushes died. My Japanese Maple looks like its on its last leg. I have called them many times. I have only gotten them once. I spoke with Carol. She said she would come by. But she did not. Since then I have called to many times to mention and left voice mails and sent emails. I have never heard a word. I have given up at this point and replaced everything that died myself. I believe in giving anybody the benefit of the doubt. But these folks are something else. My advise from one homeowner to another is NOT to use the people. They are not reliable...

Great experience with Carol's Green Thumb. They are providing full service maintenance on my yard and doing a great job. I am very happy and highly recommend them.

Beware of CGT. Carol did a minor yard improvement for us in PTC in the spring of 2010. At the time she said she would replace perennial plants that died in the first 6 months or so. Six of the approximately 30 perennials she planted died in the first 2 months. I called within that time frame and she said she would replace them. It is nearly a year later. I have called and spoke to her numerous times. She has said every time she will replace them but she doesn’t Her story always changes. She is dishonest and undependable.
